"Smart Tile was quick to respond to my request to have my granite counter tops cleaned & sealed. We setup a date and time to have the work done. I was called earlier in the day to confirm our appointment. Lorenzo was on time and started working immediately after he took a look at what was needed to be done. He was very courteous, friendly and paid close attention to detail. Lorenzo protected the floors with mats to ensure that the cleaner and sealer would not drip onto the kitchen floor. After he was done, my counter tops looked the same as the day they were installed. He also answered any questions that I had regarding the continued maintenance for my granite counter tops. Lorenzo was professional at all times and I could tell by the way that he worked he is an experienced craftsman. "Joe and his crew were great to work with. Joe was thorough with explaining every detail of the work that needed to be done. He started by removing my old double entry doors and installing with double doors that i had purchased. He put new moldings in and stained the door to our preference using Cabot Spanish moss semi transparent. He replaced my doorbell and hardwired my ring so we didn’t have to keep recharging the battery. He scraped, caulked and repainted my porch ceiling. He painted one of my bathrooms, caulking all trim to ensure a smooth finish. In the basement, i had an old staircase that went from my first floor to basement that was on its last legs. Joe removed the staircase, door and wall that led to staircase to give us an open feel. He built a new staircase, Sheetrock, painted, pointed applies polyurethane to the brick that made up half the stairwell. He installed railings with spindles and painted them with semi gloss white and installed wainscoting board to cover sides of staircase to give it a finish grand look. Stairs were stained with the Cabot stain we used on entry doors. He used eggshell white on my walls and also installed a light fixture at the top of the stairwell. I pointed out an issue i found with a couple of cracked joists i found in my basement. Joe sistered both joints to stabilize them at no extra charge. Throughout the process joe was attentive to any of our need or concerns and was the consummate professional. Joe and his crew did a great job. I would recommend joe and plan on using him in the future."
