"Westside Construction did an amazing job on my roof. All of the crew members were very professional and the owner Wes was informative and addressed all of my questions throughout the entire process. "Dustin Adams has done a lot of work for us, from installing and finish metal roof with trim work and installed gutters. I had a local roofing company replace our roof and had an interior leak. He came out and repaired what the roofing company messed up. Had several pieces of siding that need replaced and his workers were quick, professional, thorough, and replaced in a timely matter and under quote. He also replaced the man door on the back of garage that again, i had someone highly recommended and that job was too big for him, but Dustin Adams corrected it with the new install. He saved me several thousands of dollars on a vent stack he said because it had surface rust, there are still 2 interior walls. He cleaned it up, painted it, and buyers liked how it looks. Dustin comes in a explains what needs to be done and doesn't give a vibe of someone looking to make a quick buck and not completing the job. He does clean up and I've used others that don't. I've recommended him to others"

"I called and within two hours was here to repair and tack some external trim siding. In less than 5 minutes, the siding was done. The only thing I should have asked during the phone call is the estimated cost to make the repair, but that was on me. Will call again to handle a few other siding issues."

"Fantastic!! Great people would definitely hire again. Steven was a great person and made sure what I wanted done was more and made sure his staff knew it. Shane Horse was great made sure it was done correctly and was very respectful while on the property. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and yard looks better then when they got here."

"It was awesome. They did the job well. They showed up when they said they are going to. They are coming back to my house to do some painting again."

"THE GOOD   The interview went very well. I had a list of questions as to how the work would be performed and Mike answered the questions with confidence in every part of the job. After talking to him I felt comfortable believing the job would be done correctly.  We talked about materials and agreed on a price that was comparable to other bids. I told him I was not in a hurry. A different contractor said it would be 6 weeks so I guess in my mind I thought work would start in about that time frame. To be fair, Mike never gave me a start date.  This all happened in the middle of May.
THE BAD   It took a week before we picked shingle brand and color and I paid an $8000 payment. 2 large pallets of materials arrived in the first week of June. The next communication with Mike was the last week of June with him saying the weather had slowed him down. The next contact was the middle of July. Mike said it would be a little longer. I contacted him again at the end of August and he said he was heading my way soon. I contacted him middle of Sept. and was told 2 weeks weather permitting. After 2 weeks Mike texted me saying it would be longer.  I replied with concerns about the material being on pallets in my yard for 4 months and gave him 3 weeks to start work or refund my payment minus material costs. He replied he had the permit and would start work the first week of Oct. Dumpster arrived on a Monday 8 days later. Some wood was dropped off on Friday. Work started the next Friday.
MORE GOOD   Once the crew was here they did a great job. They protected my and the neighbors house during tear off and cleaned up every day. After tear off we discovered the addition roof tie in needed to be corrected which was outside the original bid. Mike rebuilt that and it looks and functions great. He did a lot of extras like disposing of some junk I had and putting some bolts in the front porch for a swing. He also partially roofed the playhouse to match the house(untill he ran out of shingles).I was very happy with the work.
MORE BAD  A week later I requested a paid in full invoice for taxes and the playhouse roof to be finished and Mike said he would take care of it.
It's been 7 weeks and still no invoice or finished roof on the playhouse.
FINAL WORD   If you want a quality job and have no time pressure then I recommend Mike. This was a 2 1/2 story hip roof and was not an easy job and took over 7 days to complete. That may have figured in to to delay. All in all it's been a roller coaster ride. He probably would have gotten here sooner if his Angies list A rating (and rightfully so in most cases) wouldn't have increased his business so much.
