The handoff to each project manager was smooth, we had folks come out in advance to measure and inspect the project area, on the day of each project manager visited the house and/or contacted us throughout the day to check on things and see if we had questions, and the workmen themselves were friendly and professional. We had a very minor warranty issue on the roof (a visible nail head) that I found after climbing up there myself, and they had their guy back the next day to fix it, which was excellent service and gave me a great deal of confidence about them honoring the warranty. "I'm pleased with the finished project, however there were some bumps along the way. Workers initially broke the incorrect window; they fixed the problem but my stress levels skyrocketed momentarily. They also initially installed an incorrect window; it was supposed to be etched glass but was clear. They did replace this promptly. Not to dissuade anyone, the finished product is good. The process was simply less than ideal. The value for our windows was very good. We also got a quote for a roof replacement and it was approximately double what we have quoted from others. Almost seems as if they charged extra once we had used them once, especially considering the year before we had gotten a quote from them for half the price as well. Anyone looking to use HCR should bare in mind their sales teams has a lot of leeway with pricing which means their products are on a large markup."
