"Everything went very well. A crew of 3 arrived at the scheduled time and got to work right away. They carefully wrapped furniture and loaded them into the truck. We packed many boxes ourselves and labeled them with destination (room name). This made it easier and saved some time. Wrapping and loading took about 1 HR. The unloading and unpacking took another hr. The crew even helped to disassemble, then reassemble some of the larger pieces of furniture (e.g., bedframes). All in all, a great experience- fast, friendly, careful (no damage!)"

"Am impressed w/"Two Marines Moving"!! From 1st contact thru move completion, the company & all personnel I came in contact with presented a professional organized organization. I was definitely impressed!! Even w/a short notice move window they were able to meet date requested & complete the move. One day out, rep called & went thru checklist to make sure all points & info was correct - EXCELLENT!! On move day team lead ck'd in 1st thing to confirm all details - made me aware of computer outage putting a possible glitch in day's agenda. Even though team arrived 45min later than scheduled they worked together efficiently & made the moving window(elevator res) & then delivered load on time. Load was a split delivery w/majority off loaded at a storage unit & rest at 3rd floor apt - having no elevator presented no problem!! The 3-man team worked well together under the expert leadership of team lead "Will" - they were an effective team & they presented good work ethics. I would highly recommend "Two Marines Moving" & would also recommend the move team I had - they were excellent!!!! Tks Will !!!!!"

"I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I received from the guys at Family Movers and I was pleased. I had previously planned to book this company for my move when I found out that there was possibility that I may have been moving due to job relocation however I was not sure of the dates. When I called and spoke with David Brown, I only had two weeks to move a 3br SFH with garage and a basement and yard full of toys! David last minute was able to accommodate me and get my house packed, loaded and into the truck. My children were more pleased than I was being so there was no toy left behind. Not to mention he was able to give the house a move out cleaning. Everyone was very understanding and patient with me as though I was not sure of which pieces I was selling and which pieces that I was keeping. While in the middle of my home move process I was having a yard sale. He was very helpful they all treated me as if I was Family he wrapped every piece of my furniture even things that was not that important he still wrapped and protected them. They did a excellent job packing the truck everything survived the ride to the new location over 300 miles safely undamaged. Mr. Brown made it so that my move was so smooth that the only thing I needed to do was go home and decorate. The guys unloaded the truck put every item in the rooms that I wanted them in unpack the kitchen and the living room boxes. Every step of the way I had help and wasn't as nervous as I have been or previous moves. I really appreciate the time and dedication that Mr. Brown and his crew gave me because that's rare to find someone who's not only doing this just to get a income but because they enjoy doing it and like helping other people I don't know what I would've done without Family Movers and preferably Mr. David Brown I wiould most definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else that's in ever need of a packer, mover, driver or house cleaning service!"

"We needed a two level deck so that we could walk out the kitchen door onto it, but not allow it to block the windows in our basement. We also wanted the deck to follow the shape of the back of the house. Not a simple design! We knew we wanted a composite material after removing about fifty thousand splinters from various feet from the wooden deck at a previous house. (Not to mention what a pain taking care of wood is.) We laid out our needs to Power House and their representative drew up beautiful plans for us on the spot. He suggested a diamond inlay in both sections and integrated low voltage lighting which we had not considered. The price was fair and building commenced in a few weeks. (That was because of our schedule, not theirs.) The guys at Power House handled all the building line restriction issues, permits, etc., for us. As work progressed, we considered adding gates on the stairs and a trex enclosure around our air conditioning units. The owner advised against both. We had deliberately made our stairs rather wide, so he felt the weight of such large gates would cause them to sag, which would be unattractive at best and cause them to function poorly at worst. He also felt the cost of enclosing the air conditioning units was not worth the expense and suggested some other ideas we could handle on our own. It is truly extraordinary to work with people who could have easily taken our money, but were up front and honest with us instead. Unfortunately for them - well, what are ya gonna do - they began work in the middle of January. The earth was frozen solid, the weather was below freezing, it even snowed on them. However, the Power House guys were out there every day, all day. Even on the weekend! You couldn't meet a nicer bunch of guys either. They really knew their stuff and it seemed they had no problems at all. (Well, other than hacking away at the rock hard ground.) Fast forward and the deck is just gorgeous. The color is perfect for our backyard, the inlaid designs are lovely and the low voltage lighting produces exactly the right amount of light. We couldn't be happier with it!"
