"On Top Roofing is Top of the Line Roofer. Professional delivery with solid quality! Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. It takes a while to get on their schedule, but they show when they say the will and do the job they say they will do. Only hire On the Top!! You will not regret."

"Back in December, during the first major storm of the season, I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of water dripping inside my wall. The next morning, I contacted several companies and left messages, worried it might take weeks for someone to even assess the damage. After receiving no callbacks the following day, I reached out to The Roofing Company and got a return call almost immediately. I explained the situation to Dylan, who quickly identified the likely issue over the phone, provided a clear price range for the repair, and came out the same day. Despite the significant snow on the roof, he had no trouble accessing it, locating the leak's source, and completing a temporary repair to get me safely through the winter. The issue turned out to be a severely deteriorated chimney. Water had been seeping in through damaged pointing and flashing, which had begun compromising the wood beneath the shingles. Since my furnace had already been removed, Dylan recommended removing t"

"the work was great, he went in their and cleaned up everything, and put in a piece of pad to cover it to keep the birds out; he also checked every part of the roof for any possible entries as well."

"It all started with a sagging beam in the dining room of our almost 300 year old house. We knew that it would require special skills  to figure out what the problem(s) were and what would be needed to fix things.
Colonial Restorations was the answer!  I found their ad in Angie's List Boston and North edition and went to their website where we found pictures of old houses, barns and mills all requiring the sort of work we knew we were going to need.
Tom Greene and his son Brad came to look at the project, talked in depth with us about what might be needed, and worked up a plan and estimate for us.  They were very honest and straight forward about the problems facing us and the fact that as they started the job they might find more problems than we were expecting. (They were right!)
My husband, a mechanical engineer , had done a lot of restoration work on other parts of the house many years ago and was impressed with the knowledge and understanding that Tom and Brad about handling this particular job.  They communicated well with us and answered many questions (from me) about what was being done.  The work progressed, between rainstorms in June and July, and when the job was finished,  the north side of our 18th century house was proudly sporting new sills, posts, plates, floor joists and a roof  extension.
We are preparing to hire them back again for another project on the front of our house.  We wouldn't have anyone else do this work.  Tom and Brad really know what they are doing!"

"Front north-facing roof had significant moss and algae. Nate quickly came to provide a quote and then came by a few weeks later to clean the roof. Did a great job - roof looks like a new roof. Wold recommend and hire again."

"Did a great Job with roof and helped me with the insurance claim from the storm damage to roof. They are prompt, clean, and super nice. Anything they moved potted plants, my deck furniture , was put back in place with care. They went over yard with a magnet device to get any loose nails , etc that may have fallen in grass."

"I had water leaking into my living room Saturday night. I called Howard Sunday. He came by my house on Monday to access the situation. Him and his crew came to my house on Tuesday at 7:05 AM and didn't stop working until 4:30 PM. Wednesday it was rainy and windy. NO WATER LEAKING in my living room. Howard and his crew did a great job. They were very professional. They didn't leave a mess for me to clean up as was the case with my last roofing contractor. I gave Howard's contact information to two of my closest friends that need roof repair."

"David and Scott were knowledgeable and trustworthy. Whenever I had questions they were super responsive. I initially only wanted to do a new roof but with the expertise and deal they offered for doing solar and the roof I could not pass up. Could not recommend more."

"The company that cleaned my gutters told me that the fascia board on one side of the house was rotted and needed to be replaced. So, I sought several estimates, including from Mass Gutters and Roofing, which had been recommended on a neighborhood social network website. Instead of picking the cheapest company (heeding the well-known admonition - you get what you pay for), I decided to go with Mass Gutters. When Mark Richardson came to see the house, he pointed out several other issues, including the need to add a gutter in the front of the house over the porch, and the bowing of the wood across the bottom of the porch railing from a lack of support. Based on my conversation with Mark, including his observations, explanations, and suggestions, I felt confident that any work he did would be of excellent quality. I was NOT disappointed! Not only was the fascia board replaced, but the cause of the rotting was determined and eliminated by extending the metal that was too short for adequate protection of the wood. And, in addition to all the work we had discussed, Mark provided a solution to a years-long problem with birds nesting under the roof of the front porch. Metal sheets were installed to prevent them from ever returning. (I look forward to the birds returning next spring, only to discover that they have been permanently evicted!) When the job was completed, Mark checked to be sure that I was happy with the work (I definitely was!) and told me to call him with any questions or problems. Based on my experience, I would unequivocally recommend this business. Mark?s vast construction knowledge, his attention to detail, and focus on customer satisfaction, along with his highly skilled workers, result in quality work for the homeowner."

"Totally excellent they cleaned up and are polite."
