"I contacted Augustine roofing in order to get an estimate on a total roof replacement since my existing was 16 years old and not in very good shape. I had some leaking previously as well. Jon responded promptly and got me on their schedule within a couple of weeks. All materials were delivered on the day they promised. Jon also was able to find a better color match for the new shingles than the original. The crew showed up promptly on the installation day (delayed one day because of rain) and did the entire demolition and installation in one day. They covered the exterior around the house with tarps to catch any falling debris. The crew also did an excellent job in cleaning up around the house making sure not to leave any trash behind. I had the gutters and downspouts replaced the following Saturday by a different crew who made sure I was satisfied with the materials before they started the install. This they completed in approximately 3 hours. The job was very professional looking and again they did an excellent job with the cleanup. They even attached the vinyl extenders I had on the old downspouts. I would highly recommend Augustine roofing for anyone needing repairs or a complete roof replacement. The work they performed will prevent me from needing any roofing work for at least another 40 years."

After calling several roofing contractors and getting estimates I was impressed with the quality of materials that Mellow Contracting uses. My project was very small it was only approximately 200 ft.² for replacement of a storage shed roof. Sean and his team came out exactly when they said they would be there and in no time at all three of them were able to completely replace the roof. They used architectural shingles with the new synthetic type of underlayment system by gaf as well as all new flashing all the way around. Dwayne came a few days later and provided an estimate, complete explanation of roofing options and company polices, the insurance, license, pamphlets and documents. He also had a crew come out, the next morning, to put up some tarps. Angie keep me completely up-to-date on the project and scheduling, I was never left in the dark wondering about what was happening. Rob, Operations Manager, came out for a pre-construction meeting to explain exactly what and how the crew would perform the replacement, safety methods, home protection, cleanup and photo documentation during construction. On the day the work was performed the amazing hard working crew, led by Armando, worked as prescission drill team, continuously non-stop. "Was searching for a Solatube dealer to repair or replace a defective dimmer switch and a "cloudy" prism that had been installed by a dealer that was no longer in business. Found Amazing Skylights booth at the Home Show at Dulles Town Center last March 2015.  The representative at the booth recommended I contact Richard Lindsay, the president of Amazing Skylights for response to my questions.  After speaking with him on the phone, I drove to his place of business with the prism and defective switch.  Wasn't sure what to expect, "showroom" fabrication facility or office.  Amazing Skylights operates out of a small bungalow in a light industrial area.  They have an office and parts storage there.  Mr. Lindsay was not there when I arrived but Mike, his able installer was there.  Mike offered me coffee or water while he examined the prism.  He disassembled it and cleaned it thoroughly while demonstrating how to do it at home if needed in the future. Rich, Mr. Lindsay, arrived and searched his web source for the dimmer switch and found he had one in stock.  The switch cost $60.00.  They did not take credit cards and I only had $40.00 with me.  "No problem. Send me the balance when you get home", Mr. Lindsay said.  Although, I can't comment on their actual installation of Solatubes or other skylights, I would definitely consult them for such work in the future based on their helpful courteous attitude and trust which they extended to me.

We have a sunsail and it required them to install some anchors by doing some custom work included in the cost of the new roof. Everything went mostly according to plan other than needing to shift schedule due to weather. I would recommend their services to anyone."
