"We contracted with Ms. Lily and the MA Landscaping team to redo our back patio on Capitol Hill in DC. The original patio had a dilapidated fence, an uneven brick floor, and overgrown shed. The moment that Ms. Lily stepped into the space, she had a vision for safeguarding the historic nature of the patio while integrating a modern look. She was receptive to our ideas and offered her own, which allowed us to come to a great combined vision. She didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into taking dramatic, expensive changes that weren't important to us. Throughout the project, Ms. Lily was hands-on, responsive, and receptive. The work was completed in 2 weeks. Her workers were friendly and when unexpected developments arose, they quickly sought our input as well as hers. Ms. Lily visited the property each day to inspect the progress. The final result was a patio that exceeded our expectations! We were thrilled by not only the end result, but also the journey to it. "Removed old concrete patio: This was an old 1963-era concrete slab. Massive. Mike & his team brought in jackhammers and made quick work of it. Waterproofing: Removing the old slab revealed a damaged (and possibly leaking) portion of the house wall, which Mike's team repaired well. Replaced with new patio: Mike's team poured a new cement layer, then installed a new flagstone patio surface on top of that. Also a new step (concrete with flagstone exterior) at the door threshold. They also re-installed an iron railing which had been part of the original patio configuration. The job went well in all respects. We're happy with the team's work and with the new patio. I've worked with Mike and Diversified Contractors several times now. Each time, Mike has had good ideas & suggestions. Each time, his team has demonstrated excellent skills. Again, I'm looking forward to our next project."

"Wow! Let me start by saying I had several contractors come by to give me estimates on fixing some major concerns I’ve had in my yard for quite a while. I needed a professional who could complete everything I needed at a reasonable price. Well, Mr Julio Escobar (ET General Contractor Inc) was able to accommodate everything I needed done. He listened to everything I needed and provided excellent suggestions as to the right approach to do the job. This entailed re-sloping my backyard to direct water away from my house foundation and installing a drainage system in my backyard. My backyard was a barren wasteland that needed quite a bit of work. I had barely any grass on one side with many trees that I wanted removed in order to get more sunlight and allow grass to grow. Julio’s crew did an amazing job (cut down trees, removed all branch/log debris and grinded/ground the stumps down to the roots). His crew planted 29 Japanese Cedar trees along my fence line. My appreciation goes out to Julio Escobar for working with the nursery to get me all Japanese Cedars instead of the Leyland Cypress trees. Exactly what I wanted all along. God Bless you! He and his crew trucked in tons of river rock to lay around my pool and along the foundation in the back of the house and then laid, I forget how many, rolls of sod. These guys worked hard and in the worst heat of the summer. Lastly, but definitely not least he and his crew brought in clean topsoil and organic compost, grass seed, and fertilizer to cover my front yard (that also was a wasteland). After that he aerated the area and laid sod on the sides of my driveway so that there would be no run off when it rained. I can’t express enough how professional, courteous, and attentive Mr Escobar and his entire crew were throughout the entire job. I would definitely use them again for future projects. God Bless them for their hard work and strong work ethic!"

"I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided). Edin and his team are wonderful to work with!"

"Alex and his crew are truly skilled, detailed, dedicated, and hardworking brick and stone masons. They arrived early and worked late even on days with 105 degree temperatures. They were always in good spirits and eager to explain each step in the construction process. I can sincerely say the construction was of the highest quality and the final outcome was a work of art. They removed and rebuilt a deteriated brick front porch, brick steps, and a 12 foot flagstone walkway to the driveway, and built a large backyard flagstone patio and a connecting 15 foot flagstone walkway. Before they had even finished my work, a neighbor had contracted them for an even larger project."
