"We just had my home's worn out cedar exterior completely renovated (Oct 2023). Went out to bid and Macbeth was the only company that met my requirements and budget. Had all new pre-painted Hardee Plank siding, new windows, doors (both double and single), eaves, seamless gutters with leaf guards. 21 new doors and windows that work flawlessly. Window shutters as well. Job was completed in less than 3 weeks to my 110% satisfaction. These guys are experienced professionals that pay attention to every detail and the customer. They adhered to every detail of the Hardee plank specifications and even installed all my new exterior lights. Ripped off all cedar siding, then encased entire house with plywood, then Hardee moisture wrap and taping, finally the Hardee siding and trim. Thorough cleanup. Very highly recommended. It is very important to go with a company that does it all. The others only did siding or doors and windows but not both, but it's very important that both get done simultaneously to have the perfect outcome. Next job is deck replacement, going with Macbeth again, wont go anywhere else."

"A neighbor mentioned that they had experienced a leak in their bedroom ceiling and when they checked it out, the roof was in fact leaking. He had an inspector come out and they discovered hail damage. My home is of similar age and the roofing material identical so I decided to have my roof inspected. I used Affordable Quality Roofing, since my daughter used their company for siding damage to her home from a storm last year. There were complications due to matching materials no longer being available and they worked diligently with her insurance to find a solution and give her beautiful results. I checked the reviews on Angie’s List etc. and they got great reviews on roofing as well so I gave them a call. Larry came out for a free roof inspection and told us we had significant hail damage too! We were shocked because one would think that a 30-year roof could withstand the storms we get here and ours was only about 12 years old. I proceeded to contact my insurance company and open a claim. They keep storm records and we did indeed have sizable hail in May of last year. They were very careful due to Covid-19 and wore masks or socially distanced while the work was being performed. Larry made a point of being here to meet with the insurance adjuster and inspector to make sure all damage was evaluated. He was the face of the company and handled all contract, payment and punch list items after the install. It was nice to deal with the same person start to finish, like your satisfaction really mattered to this company. I believe it would be in everyone’s best interest to schedule a FREE inspection with Affordable Quality Roofing because they are Honest (NO pressure and will tell you if you have damage before you make a claim with your insurance company), Reliable (always showing up exactly when they said they would), and Efficient (work was done quickly and my yard was left as if they had never been here)."

"Review of work done by Summit Roofing Company, Manassas, Virginia On two different occasions in August 2020, I called Summit Roofing Company to repair flashing issues on two parts of my roof. Their were two separate teams of two workers who fixed both problems cause by an aging roof; both were leaks. In each case, the responsiveness was excellent for the repairs needed. They were very respectful of the health issues going on with Covid 19 and we were able to identify exactly where the roof issues were without putting me at any health risk. They were able to take pictures before and after their work so I could see the finished product on the roof. I researched local costs and they were certainly very competitive and reasonable. They cleaned up after the job which made my wife and I very happy. Being a long time Manassas resident, I have routinely heard of only good references about this company. A consumer saying I have heard for years, namely, "the bitterness of poor quality and service remains long after the sweetness of low-price" has been advice I take strongly before I make a decision on a company. In the case of Summit Roofing, they have high quality and workmanship standards, great service from their home office and a price that is extremely good. I got all three positive elements working with Summit! I highly recommend them!"

"Of course I had to find out in the spring of the wettest year on record that our 20 + year-old roof needed to be replaced, plywood sheathing included. I had 5 different companies come out to look at the job and felt like several companies were either trying to rake me over the coals or sell me things I did not need (gutters, attic fan, etc.) Once Steve swung by to take a look at the job and talk over what he thought I needed to have done, I felt like I had found an honest man/company that would not up-sell me things I did not need. He explained that a SmartVent roof system would probably work better for our house and that a maintenance intensive fan was not the best way to go. Because of all the rain, we were delayed in getting out new roof w/the SmartVent system but not much could be done about that. Only one issue arose during the process that Steve took care of with no questions asked. When the supplier dropped our load of plywood at the house during a downpour w/o covering it, the wood turned to mush and got all moldy. When I called Steve he said he would call his supplier and make sure a new load of plywood was dropped the day the crew showed up to do my roof. Right on schedule, the new load arrived and everything went smooth from there. I really hope I don’t encounter any more roof issues, but if I do, I would definitely give Steve my business. Overall, a very responsive and great company to work with."
