"Project took a little longer than expected with making the forms for the cement, as the man doing the work didn't understand exactly how Mark Pawling wanted it done. Mark was at a different job site and not available. However, once Mark was here things went much better. Overall he and his crew did an excellent job, and made sure we were happy with the job. "The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

None of these interactions made either of them eager to do business with him."
