Gutter crew installed covers and rehung two gutters that were flowing the wrong way (a problem that a previous company failed to correct). So far (<1 month), the covers and the repair seem to be working. Pricing and scheduling were very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use JD Hostetter & Associates again."

"I cannot rave enough about Blue Ladder! Everyone from Austin to Ryan to the work crew were extremely professional and very responsive! We had storm damage that caused us to have a portion of our roof replaced AND siding and downspouts replaced. Ryan sat with me while I contacted the insurance company and helped me through the process. He and the team handled a lot of the back and forth with the insurance company and the mortgage company. Ryan even stopped by a few times to check that the temporary covers were still protecting our house, so we had coffee together! Oh and their selection of shingles and siding are great! "They Purchased to many materials, and did not give me a receipts to return them to store. I offered to give them to him he said he would be back and he never came, gave them to someone I knew I could not communicate with the workers due to language barrier. They did really good with roofing, they laced out tarp to catch nails and clean up was great."

"This contractor responded to my request for inspection and repair of a leak in my barn roof. I had another contractor come earlier that day and check my roof. He gave his findings and recommendations on the barn roof. Then he proceeded to tell me that I had several impressions and he was going to check my house roof. He checked the house roof and told me I had several impressions on this roof and I should contact my insurance company and have it inspected for damage. When this contractor arrived, I told him what the other contractor had told me. He check the barn and house roof and told me he didn't find the roofs to be in bad condition and did not feel the claims adjuster would approve a new roof. He also told me I would be charged for a claim, even if there was on damage claim payment. This concerned me very much and I called my insurance agent to verify this. She checked it out and called me back. She told me that the claim would not raise my premium, because it would be considered a catastrophe, but I would be charged with a claim regardless if there was or was not a claim payment. I state this so others considering calling their insurance company to file a claim will be aware of the consequences, should a claim not be approved. More than one opinion would be helpful in determining this. This also states the integrity of this contractor. I found him to be very honest and forthright, even though I have not had any work done. After talking with him, I would feel totally comfortable using him to replace my roof. He was vey knowledgeable and detailed on how he would perform the work, should I choose him. I am still deciding what to do with my barn roof and will very likely use him should I decide to contract it out rather than doing it myself."
