Sidney, the owner, cautioned me that the blood stains might return, and if so to let him know. As he predicted, there was some seepage. True to his word, he returned, and actually was able to lift the carpet and clean underneath the carpeting and the pad to resolve the issue. "The 1964 bulkhead I had out back was replaced a year ago, but the wood and insulation underneath (the ceiling of the walkway underground to my basement under the back living room) took in water damage and the area was very musty for years. Tom Morneault of Morneault Environmental was the only guy I could find that would not only treat the wood to remove anything growing on it/get rid of the smell, but his team also removed old wood and insulation and re-insulated for me as part of the deal, which was still hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other companies I talked to, which would only remove the old wood and insulation, they don't put anything back in. Tom's team was here by 8:30 this morning and by 2pm they were done and it looks fantastic and smells crisp and clean. They didn't even stop for breaks or have to make any trips to get supplies, they had them all in the van, including the insulation boards. Very highly recommended if anyone is in the same situation."
