"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"Team was very responsive with communications and always arrived on time. Everything was explained carefully and when surprise problems came up they checked in before doing anything to consult. Roof looks very good and you could tell that the team was working hard and doing it right. Project took 2.5 days. Replaced some of the plywood in the roof that was damaged. Some minor damage to the house occurred (porch light broken) and they fixed before project was done. UHE has good financing options if you need them."

My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. It was a big job that entailed removing 3 layers of rolled roofing/asphalt shingles; removing original skylight & taking down old dormant chimney to roof line and roofing over both; installing ½ “ plywood and asphalt shingles over new roof. In fact, my neighbor across the street who had a birds eye view of work in progress, then hired them to replace his roof. John Lanzafame, the company’s owner, is a jewel. The prices were very competitive and much more reasonable than other companies. They didn't try to nickle and dime us and also respected our time when giving us a quote, unlike some larger, national companies we received quotes from. They set up and completed the entire job in a whole day (about 12 hours- we had 3 layers of roof on our house). Freddy checked in on the job site intermittently throughout the day and he and his crew were very professional. This was a few weeks ago and we have not found any scraps or nails left behind. "I was very happy with this company from the delivery of materials to the courteousness of the crew and the workmanship they did. There was one day of rain which delayed the start of the project, and they still finished on time. About three months later I had an issue with some loose siding and the gutters not properly catching water. I called them in within a couple of weeks they were out here fixing the issues and again they were courteous, and did what they needed to do."
