"I hered VRP Floors to install vinyl in basement. The representative and the owner Horacio they were very responsive and finished the project on time as promised. I'd definitely hire them again"

"Great communication, staff was very friendly. Quality work and material were used, and service was prompt. Definitely recommend!"

"I hired Aurelio to refinish my old oak stairs, carpeted at the time. After removing the carpet, we realized installing new stairs would have been the "better" option, but my budget didn't go in that direction. Aurelio and his team did their best to repair the damage and refinish the stairs. Aurelio suggested adding molding and 3/4 rounds to hide the places that couldn't be fixed, and that was a great idea. I'm sure when the project is finished (I'm having a painter paint the front faces of the stairs white), I'll be happy with the results, but I wish I had known a few things before hiring: 1) That the "material" (which wasn't included in the quote) would be grossly overpriced (I paid $1,200 for the carpet removal, repairs, sanding, staining and poly-coating, and $550 for material) 2) That the workers wouldn't wear shoe covers to keep my existing wood floors clean 3) That some wholes wouldn't be filled 4) That vertical surfaces of the stairs wouldn't be touched/fixed 4) And last but not least: That I would have NO SAY in the finish color. I wasn't shown a sample, given a color name, or called on site before the stairs were completely stained (and impossible to re-stain, I was told). The final color is about four levels lighter than my original wood floor (and the rest of my house). I understand you cannot match colors exactly, but the difference in tone and level is very noticeable. My "new" stairs are a light-ish pine-like color; my existing floors are between American Oak and Gunstock. As Aurelio puts it "When there are no lights on, you don't notice the color difference". I'm giving the company a B for the hard work done. But I learned my lesson."

"Did a great job on the floors. Was not pleased with how they prepped the house for sanding. Did not cover shelving, cabinets and appliances very well. I would suggest overseeing the covering of everything prior to sanding."

"VJ Hardwood Floor was professional and easy to work with and I’m very happy with the job they did. My floors came out beautifully."

"George and Alfredo were excellent craftsmen. When I expressed a concern on how they ended the crown molding, they immediately worked to find a solution that I liked. They could have been better with the the cleanup. I kept finding pieces of trim & debris. Unfortunately I was not happy with having to pay them more for the crown molding to cover the top of the floor to ceiling bookcase. I had stated I wanted the crown molding to cover the entire ceiling. We had a communication failure with the estimate. They did a good job installing the barn door on the bathroom. I found them both very personable and hardworking. There were little things I noticed after the job was finished, which could have been better. But on the whole they were wonderful to have working on my job!"

"Excellent Installers. Did a thorough job. They provided us a lot of tips into keeping new floor clean. Assisted us a little in putting back the heavy equipment properly. Enjoyed the fact you can pay in installments with no interest for 1 yr. The project went ahead of schedule- which was helpful. 2 day project finished in 1 day. 2nd day came for quick and final inspection."

"Very professional. Installed a floating vinyl floor in the basement. Looks great."
