They are a great company, with solid values. They put the customer first, and their expertise and professionalism is subpar. I have used three different services from S2F, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. 1. They provide maintenance for my lawn, the combination of products they use is just perfect for my lawn, my grass is green, healthy and free of weeds. The technician is courteous and professional, he takes the time to put his machine through the small gate in the fenced backyard. He hasn't hit it once. Kudos for a great maneuvering skills. 2. Last year, I met with Cameron, and we talked about outdoor lighting. He recommended a set of Bluetooth color changing lights. As you can see from the pictures, you can seamlessly change the lighting colors from your phone. There is a huge array of colors, with the option of alternating the scene with up to three different colors. The installation was quick and efficient and the product worked right away. They have a very good warranty and don't consume a lot of energy. The price was reasonable and scheduling was very quick, even in the middle of January. 3. This spring, they mulched and cleaned my mulch beds for the first time ever, I have always done this myself thinking I can cut costs. It is totally worth it to let professionals do this. As you can see from the pictures, the level of detail in every mulch bed is something I can't achieve. They also buried the downspouts, this helps tremendously to control water from coming in the basement. This was done two weeks ago, and you can't notice the cuts in the grass anymore. The price was reasonable, and the work was done very well. Overall, I give Start to Finish a 5 out of 5 in every aspect of their work. I have no reservation in recommending them for any type of outdoor work you need. I encourage you to visit their website to see everything they are capable of."

They completed the first treatment in a timely manner and were very thorough in treating the entire lawn. The weeds started dying within a day or two, and now my lawn looks much better."

George was willing to work with the ideas that I had for building the fire pit and patio.  He was very responsive during the project when I would stop him and ask questions, or suggest a different way to do the layout and design.  The patio and fire pit turned out nicely.  On the lawn work - seeding, mulching, leveling - I felt that George was trying to get done and get to another job, and maybe didn't spend as much time and care as I would have liked.  If you hire him for a job, be aware that he is pretty much a one man show, and is sometimes slow to respond to emails and calls, and can get behind schedule quickly when the weather is bad.

When leaves sit on lawn for extended period of time, they often kill grass, and It took almost two months to get service.  I think service providers often underestimate the volume of business they are going to have when they offer an Angie's List Big Deal. "Scott and his crew showed up in the morning of the day they said they would and he brought a full crew with him. The crew went to work immediately falling the two dead hickory trees and then began trimming the other two.  One tree was another hickory that needed a dead limb cut that was too close to our house and the other tree was a VERY large red oak that needed a lot of careful  trimming done to it. The oak was close to the house and hung over our driveway with many dead limbs on it and took the most time of all the tree work done to our property that day. Scott and his crew did an excellent job getting it all done with a thorough clean up; making sure we were satisfied with his work before he drove away. Scott's quote was competitive with all the others we received but he was able to get the work done sooner and at a better price. I would have no reservations about having him come out to our home for any other tree work in the future.
