"After interviewing several contractors, we hired Gleason{ removed company name} contracting for an extensive fireplace renovation and hardwood floor installation project, and we are so glad we did. Mike and his team refaced our oversized brick fireplace with stacked stone, custom cutting, color matching, and fitting the stone throughout perfectly. Work requiring attention to detail, like the interior of wood box, corners, and installing and finishing the drywall accommodations for mounting the tv, look absolutely outstanding. The hearth was so wide that we could not find a precut slab, but Mike had a connection with a stone mason who fabricated a beautiful, singular blue stone slab approximately ten feet in length, solving yet another challenge. In addition to the fireplace place, they laid the flooring, and stayed on to paint the walls and ceilings. During the work, communication was great. We were kept up-to-date on progress and future work plans. Any questions or concerns were thoughtfully addressed, and all work was done with the utmost care and craftsmanship. "Jon and Chris were very easy to work with on our project. We had an idea on what we wanted, they came in with "can do" mentality and added to the overall project with their own suggestions. It entailed not only patio, steps and walkway, we also had a small wall built, all with natural stone, and they used our old pavers to redo our driveway. Drainage was an issue in our previous setup, they did a great job in taking care of it. Part of our vision was to have some lattice fencing put up for privacy. Jon built homemade lattice and installed it. We still take time to look at what was done and comment about how pleased we are on the finished project and the workmanship of Chris and Jon.
