They were very professional, arrived each day early, cleaned up all trash and produced a beautiful deck for me. Their english is at times limiting but they manage to communicate and did a lovely job. "I interviewed several contractors for my main bathroom remodel and chose VKB for their professionalism, design, and overall approach to the process. My objective was to have a large shower with a seat since the existing shower was the size of a phone booth and the bathroom configuration presented challenges. "Mr. Diaz was not the lowest price quote we received, but he had great reviews and was very responsive. We found this carried on throughout the project. Unlike some other experiences we've had, he always came when he said he would. He was able to start almost immediately. Sometimes he shifted his schedule to respond to the weather and projects that were indoors or out, but he always let us know. The work was done quickly and the quality is very good. All of his crew were friendly and professional. He also saved us some money as we were about to order granite counters from the big orange box store and he was able to get a look we liked for considerably less and faster. He could have done the same for our cabinets, too, but we didn't have time to add that to the project. On top of all that, he guarantees his work for 2 years."

"The reason I gave it a 'B' is because they also sold us a screen 'room' to attach to the awning which zippers which sounds like a good idea but we only set it up once and never again because it is so complicated. We should not have bought that but the awning we love and would not want to do without it."

"Deck and Fence was actually the last deck builder we spoke to about building a deck and a patio underneath that would stay dry and usable during rain (thanks, Trex Rainscape!). They were different from the other builders we talked to in many ways. Unlike the others, on their first visit, Deck and Fence showed us many samples of the deck flooring, railing accessories and hardscape options we could choose from, as well as a fairly detailed to-scale diagram of how the deck and patio underneath would come together. Even better, the representative was able to show us pictures of the actual decks and patios they had built and that had the options and design we discussed. None of the others presented samples or had pictures, even after multiple visits. It was easy to close the deal because the pricing presented on the first visit was detailed enough for us to tweek what we wanted to fit into our budget and we had a very good idea of what the finished product would look like. They started building the deck within the time frame discussed and answered all of our questions about the materials, construction, permits and other details as the project progressed. Spending this money for an addition to our house was a big deal for us, but my wife and I never felt a "hard sell", just knowledgeable and honest answers. It's nice to have county inspections as the project progresses, but you have to have confidence in the builder and we did, initially, and it grew as we saw the addition take shape. In fact, a few weeks after it was complete, we decided on a second phase that would extend the patio and that was completed within the estimated time, as well. We especially appreciated the care the crew took with our underground irrigation system. The crew also showed attention to detail and were friendly and professional and left the back yard in good shape after both phases. We believe we got our money's worth here and we recommend them without reservation."

"The built-ins Econize installed in our family room and daughter's room are exactly what we wanted and our experience with the company was wonderful from the initial design consultation to the final install. During the design consultation David listened to my requests and provided honest and practical suggests and recommendations. He could have easily sold me a built-in bookcase that wouldn't have looked good in addition to the family room and child's bedroom floor to ceiling bookcase we ended up getting, but was honest and professional and suggested I not go ahead. The install was efficient and the install guys were prompt, friendly, professional, and courteous. They removed shoes, asked if we would like them to wear a mask even though they were alone in the rooms they installed in, and were very accommodating of the fact I didn't know how many wire holes we needed in the built in. They arranged to come back and drill and fit these at a later date and arrived promptly and worked efficiently again. Just excellent customer service and an excellent product. Could not recommend them enough."
