I am 22 years old working full time and trying to get a business started on the side. Even though I am young I have lots of experience. I enjoy working I started painting with my family at 5 years old stuck with that for a while. Then went to another company and got more experience in a different trade. "I needed bathroom sub-floor/floor repair (due to past water damage), tile installation and toilet installation. Joel Navarro gave me a reasonable and fair quote for the work to be done. Joel did the sub-floor and floor repair (which ended up being a bigger job than initially expected, however, the quoted price did not change). Joel had contacts/sub-contractors for the tile installation and toilet installation so the job was a one stop shop for me as he paid them. Joel was here with his sub-contractors while the work was being done, he also made several runs to Lowe’s and Home Depot for various parts that were needed to complete the repairs (plywood, 2x6’s, 2x4’s, concrete boards, toilet water supply line (as the one I bought was the wrong size), etc… Work started on Tuesday and finished Sunday. I’m very happy with the work that was done and recommend Joel, especially for the sub-floor/floor repair as the job was way more involved than either of us initially thought it would be. "RE Mendez is a man of his word. He and his crew did an excellent job of removing the old driveway and installing a new driveway. They did the job in 2 days and came back the third day and cleaned up the area and restored some of the grass. In my opinion he knows this business. He is a pleasant person to work with. "I had problems in our back yard with water pooling during heavy rainfall and was concerned about possible flooding of our house and garage.  We have a pool and concrete patio, so I knew this was not going to be an easy fix.

Rob came out and spent about 2 hours looking over our situation and talking about options.  After he left, he came up with a single plan with components so we could proceed one step at a time, then wait and evaluate the success of that step or do a number of steps at once. 

Since we we were very concerned about the possibility of flooding, we elected to proceed with regrading, adding an exterior drainage line from the garage to the street, replacing an existing line from the house to the street, adding catch basins and re-grading areas around the house and garage.

The work was done at the days and times arranged; the crew was very considerate and professional and the work was beautiful.  

Most importantly, we have had several very heavy rainfalls and the solutions we had implemented by Works By Rob are performing as well as we had hoped.   We had no accumulation of water and no worries!"
