"We had used Legacy previously for windows and we called them about our kitchen project. Mark came back out and we discussed the goals we wanted and what our budget was.I showed Mark online the things we liked and he came back with a proposal that was workable. Legacy is not a huge company and we always spoke with Mark when we had questions. That was nice. The project was involved. In addition to the kitchen needing a new floor, fixtures, counter tops and cabinets, we cut a hole in the side of the house and put a large window there. More light in the kitchen is fantastic! The project took more than 2 months from start to finish. It was a little longer than we anticipated but we understood. Legacy has talented carpenters but not a lot of them. Mark and Robert both told us it would be nice and that can take a little time. They were right. The attention to detail was awesome. And as the project unfolded we did make small changes on the fly. Those were a difference maker. we love our new kitchen and we look forward to getting our master bath done next by Legacy. "The quality is excellent. I am a licensed contractor who has remodel eleven apartment buildings that I own and various houses and condos for other people on the Northshore. Wood Ez has done over a dozen floors for me over the last five years. Most of these have been complete replacements of oak flooring and underlayment some floors only needed repair from water stains, burned holes, gaps because of walls removed, severe staining from pets which Wood Ez sanded and used bleached and stain to restore. All of the work has been excellent. Late last fall Wood EZ installed two new wood floors in two storefronts that I own in Evanston, I had asked them to wait to put the third coat of varnish on until I finished some repairs to the walls. Vlad, who is the president, called me in January to remind me that I had forgotten to get the last coat! Even before this I was so impressed that I refered Vlad to a friend who I know to be quite particular about his house.
