We first hired Jeff in 2015 to create stone steps and walkways. We liked the result so much we worked again with him in 2017 when we dreamed about transforming our lackluster backyard. He patiently listened to our ideas and then designed our backyard oasis for us. He created an acre sized flagstone patio that included stone walkways and stairs, raised stone flower beds and circular stone fire pit, and an outdoor kitchen area. The project came in on time, on budget and to this day has no drainage or settling issues. In 2018 we hired Jeff to complete interior renovations which included plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. He updated two bathrooms - which included a one-of-a kind custom natural indoor field stone rain shower. He also removed and installed new radiator covers and hardwood floors throughout our home. My husband was hospitalized during these renovations and Jeff's control over these projects allowed me to focus completely on that, knowing my home was in trustworthy, competent hands. Jeff is an honest, reasonably priced, skilled and experienced contractor who has a great crew working for him who stands behind his work. "The quality of the work performed was excellent. I am very pleased with the appearance of the replaced section of my driveway The front steps now look as good as new, as well. The cost exceeded the initial estimate, but I have to give them a pass on that, as there were some real surprises during removal of the old concrete (no grade preparation was done for the original driveway, just concrete poured over uneven ground, so in places it was 4" thick, and in others about 12" thick, making removal very difficult). Carlos Concrete did a good job with leveling the site and placing stone over the ground before pouring, and that should result in a better driveway long-term. My only reservation was a delay in removing the tree roots excavated from the site before pouring the new driveway section. They were professional and friendly."

After we agreed to a price, he allowed my wife and I to choose our paver color, style, pattern, and size from a recommended supplier. After the construction team showed up, it only took a half a day of preparation, and a day to install. They left no mess behind and always cleaned up at the end of each day. They even left me some sod and patched my yard as necessary to promote grass growth in bare areas!
