At the initial inspection, Kettner gave us a reasonable quote, which included installing new flashing and metal vents. "Got an estimate beginning of may. 8 weeks later after putting half down his crew showed up late. First Shay decided I needed more work. An extra $3k was approximated and I asked for estimate emailed. Estimate was $9k more. I rejected the change 4 separate communications and monday morning his crew showed up late tearing up the roof for additional work. I called Shay and stated I rejected change and he told me I must pay extra to restore the roof or he pulls the crew with roof open. Finally rew gets tge roof done after a progress payment was made using my debit leaving $2k left. I went to buy a cashier check for PAID IN FULL final payment and found 1st Choice had gone ahead without my authorization. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress this enough! I have never had a contractor curse me out!!!"

"Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience having our house re-sided with Planet Builders. Things started out well, Marcio and crew are very friendly and easy to talk to, but what was originally quoted as a ?4 week project? became a 3 month project. After the first week, they would only appear after repeated texting asking when they were coming back - and then they would be there and work for a couple days and then disappear again. They started in April and by the time they were finished, we were told it was too late into fall to paint. :( Also, they replaced a couple windows as part of the siding job and did a lot of damage to the inside of the house that we had to have repaired. The siders also covered over our fully functioning attic fan! We could not figure out why our house was so hot- and my husband went outside and said where the vent for the attic?! (It was under the siding). I complained to Marcio about the delays and the damage and he gave me $500 back (from a $30k project). Marcio was so nice, I wish the construction experience had been nice too!"

"AMPRO Builders LLC. has a total disregard for the customer and very shoddy work. I had hired them initially for roofing and it took the owner a full year to address and fix the fact that his employees put my skylights on backwards when they reroofed my home. I had to write a POOR review for the owner Robert Chatham to even pay attention to my calls to his rep. which went unanswered for the entire time . I had the siding of the home also replaced during this period by the same AmPro and they job was performed while I was at work (They put hardy plank on without it even being sealed). I came home and found that when the siding was replaced, it was replaced so that there is a gap that needs to be fixed as this will allow the elements and mold to start on the inside of the siding. When They skylights were fixed I was told that AmPro would take care of the siding replacement failure . The failure was found by the painter when he saw the large gap at the bottom of wall where it should snug up to the cedar lap, but the builder put the siding on top of the first plank leaving a large gap opening on lower side at front end of my home. Robert Chatham showed up at my home and actually saw the shoddy work on the south side and front corner of my home and said he was the boss and would have it fixed. Then I heard nothing. I called Robert Chatham (Owner) and asked when the siding would be corrected as the winter (last year) was coming and he said he would do it when the weather was better and dry. This was last year (2023) the roof was put on a year before that and when they finally fixed the botched skylights and put them in correctly they had to scrape them as they had moss growing on them. WELL It's been DRY for a long time this summer and The Guy has answered one call and sent me to Voice mail after that without a return call or time frame to fix AmPro's botched siding repair. I will also send this to the BBB as I am done waiting. I do not recommend this Guy or his company ! AMPRO BUILDERS LLC.- Robert Chatham GM"
