"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"As a first time home-owner looking to take on a large and expensive project, I was quite nervous about choosing the right company. I met with 3 companies, but it was Catalyst Tops that provided the most comprehensive overview of all relevant factors, many of which I didnt even consider myself. Bo, who did the consultation, did an excellent job at making me feel comfortable that my investment would be well spent. After looking at some of the samples that he brought with him (very important), he encouraged me to come to their warehouse to see the slabs. Although it was a bit of a drive, it was well worth it. They had a substantial amount of product available, and walked me through their inventory to find the perfect slab. During the walkthrough, Bo was also great at laying out all the differences between the different types of stone, pros/cons of different selections, and (most importantly) how to save money by looking at particular slabs that large enough to complete the job without having to buy a second slab. Lastly, Lisa and the install team were exceptional in confirming all the necessary templet details for the sink/cooktop, and when the install team arrived (ON TIME!!!), they worked fast and flawlessly. I will certainly be returning to Catalyst Tops for all my future needs. For all those reading this review, out of the 3 contractors I consulted with, Catalyst Tops was the most expensive, but only by appx 5-10%. Considering the value of their large inventory, knowledgeable and professional staff that made me feel comfortable, and their commitment to delivering a flawless install made it a simple choice to chose Catalyst Tops."
