"Phillip's a very very busy man and rightly so, he's great at his craft. Therefore timing and weather delayed us getting our project started. However in the end, his crew did an excellent job repainting and repairing some sheds at my mothers house which is 57 years old. The house looks like new and I'm very grateful Phillip has a heart, especially for fixed income customers. I will be setting up an appointment with him here soon to do some fencing and other basic repairs. He did a fabulous job repainting our bathroom and looks custom---so his crew are highly skilled professionals. You cannot ask for anyone better nowadays where the skill trades are quick to clean your checkbook out. Thanks Phillip....my only advice is allowing enough follow-up response time when you get waves of overwhelming request. 24-48 hour response text or phone calls to new or returning customers are not out of reasonable accommodation. "I have already recommended Fournette Repairs to two other close friends. Jerreau was impressively fast to respond (a rare find in New Orleans), totally competant, and ended up charging me much less that I'd feared when I realized my washing machine wasn't working.
Less than an hour from when I called, he came to my home to assess the situation (burned out motor) and gave me two options: Replace the motor for $230 + labor or pay $75 for a similar (but newer) model he'd just finished refurbishing. I opted for the latter. When I asked how soon he could bring the replacement, he said "Before the week's out." It was Thursday :) 
He delivered and installed the "new" washer and removed the old one with no additional charge. The refurb has been great so far (and is covered by a 90 day warranty). Throughout the process he's been easy to communicate with (including via text, which makes things much easier) and really quick to respond.
Hopefully, nothing else in the house breaks down, but if it does, glad to know I've got a stellar appliance repair guy.

"Dad with his journeyman son fixed some timers and automatic lights in front and the back patio. They repaired some vexing little things I just couldn't get around to do myself. They do other work in the Mandeville area and knew a few people in my neighborhood. They had to go out for replacement parts. Value for the dollar OK. Would hire them again for similar or other things. They do other things than just electrical items."

"I called late on a Friday afternoon after my air went out. They came after hours, installed the new unit, and took the old one for evaluation & possible repair. A year later I called them back for another ac problem (different unit), and they came same day. Whereas another contractor told me to junk the unit, Greg replaced a small part & all was well. While with me the second trip, I mentioned several other small jobs, and they got right on them! The vent hood took a trip into the attic and up onto the roof, but they figured out the problem and solved it. This hood was damaged during Katrina (12 years ago) & Ive had several companies out to look/repair and nobody was able to diagnose problem. Now I have my hood back! Repaired two ceiling fans that I'd been told to junk, repaired a pendant light wired incorrectly by another contractor, and even replaced some light bulbs in my 12-foot ceiling-ed rooms! Excellent service, very fair pricing, good responsiveness, and just all-around nicefolks. I HIGHLY recommend!"

"The response from Robbie's Installations was within 1 hour of requesting service on line. After Robbie's called me back they were at my house within 3 hours! They were very professional and installed my over the range microwave in less than 30 minutes. The cost was reasonable compared to other installers from Lowes/HD. I will call them again to install any appliance needed in the future."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
