"Well one of my double swinging front gates to the driveway was dragging and Chris from Accurate came down and did what he could do to fix it and for the most part I was happy. Chris did point out to me that the tension bar that goes into the ground was kind of hard to put into the hole and that holds the gate in place. Well after trying to put the bar into the hole in the ground and It was very hard to impossible, I called Chris to come back and fix it, he said he would. But after 3 times on 3-different days calling him and he said he would come down to fix it and never showed, I am going to move on and call another company to fix it. update as of 02.04.2020: Chris did show up on Tuesday 02.04. He did explain and apologize for not coming back down or responding to my messages. But he did fix the problem with the double gate fence.I would rehire him."

"Shawn, Sunset Gates' owner/operator, came to the house, took measurements and gave us a price. He clearly explained materials, pricing and how the gates are built. The purchase and installation went really well. We chose a Traditional Series gate, which looked very nice after it was installed and even better after I stained the cedar slats. Was tempted to go with the composite slats, which don't need staining or painting, but I like the look of real wood. Fyi: We opted for a self-closing spring, which works great. Bottom line: This iron-and-wood gate is sooo much better than our old gate, which was made of 2-by-4s and wood slats!"

"We first met the Allied Iron company at the Maricopa Home Show about one year before we were ready to pull the trigger to put up new gates on the sides of our house and a small entrance gate for our casita. Mike was very courteous, honest and took his time to understand our needs. This project is a small piece of a much larger remodel, so Mike offered various suggestions and recommendations as to the style, size and privacy of the design in keeping with the overall architecture of the home. He was thorough and honest in terms of cost, the measurement taking process and the fabrication time for the 3 gates. From sale to installation, the process took all of 7 weeks. Mike proactively provided periodic email status updates as well as a design description and photo for us to approve before fabrication, which were all very reassuring. Once our custom designs were complete, the installers arrived on time and introduced themselves in a professional manner. The results are beautiful! "Karl is very professional and precise. I hired him because he was honest in his quote. The big company quoted me less and then backed out on their quote and said they mis-measured when I wanted to hire them for their low price. At that point their quote was the same as Karl's and I was happier with the smaller guy anyway, bc I knew the guy doing the quote would also do the work and I had a good feeling about Karl. Once he scheduled the work he showed up exactly when he said he would both times. The first install he advised me on the color and explained his reasoning, but I didn't listen (and he was very polite, saying I should pick the color I wanted). On the second fence I listened and it was prettier than the first. Both the installs were very correctly done and look great, just the color on the first one isn't as good, but it's exactly what I ordered. One thing I really liked was that Karl re-worked some fence he had already gotten in when I expressed concern about dogs digging under it. I hadn't told him anything about dogs, so this was my fault, but he still put it in lower to the ground when I asked him to without any complaining. He also cleaned up his mess before he left. If I ever have more ironwork to do, I will be calling Karl again. <br />"
