"I thought George and his crew did an excellent job in painting the house. In the beginning he said it would take 3-4 days and it came in at three. He told me in detail how he does his painting jobs and what I needed to do to prepare. He began with a complete washdown of the house. Then all windows and non painted surfaces were completely masked. Places where the stucco was pealing and cracked were repaired. There were places where the wood parts of the house were damaged, and these were patched and repaired . Several times he walked me thru the site and showed me his progress. At the end of the job we walked the perimeter of the house, and George showed me what he did and answered any questions that I had. Cleanup afterwards was thorough. It was a really good job. I don't know if this review is expected to cover the roofing job that George also did for me, so I'm going to discuss that also. Because of the circumstances of this house, we decided to do a patching job of the roof rather than a complete whole new roof. George determined that there were four areas requiring patches including patches to the subroofing wood. He said it would take a day, which it did. The crew removed the faulty subroof wood and replaced it with new wood. He had already painted the wood, with paint from the prior house painting job. The wood then was covered with the standard roofing materials. The rim that was removed that wraps over the facial wood was replaced. In one area a piece of the facial board had to be replaced and repainted. The whole roof was then painted with a sealant that should extend the life of the roof for several years. All in all an excellent job."

"Spencer4Hire did a great job. They completed the work on schedule and the quality of their work was exceptional. They installed rolled roofing about 1 ft past the end of the tile to prevent water from leaking back. The flashing they installed at the chimney and at an intersecting wall was very carefully installed and sealed. They replaced 2 sections of fascia board along with some rotted wood. After they painted the repairs (my paint) I couldn't tell where the repairs were made. They even set the flashing to direct water away from the corner where the rot started. I chose Spencer4Hire because they took the time to explain what they would do and gave me several options to choose from. During installation they kept me informed as to the timeline and any additional items needed. I would certainly choose them again if I needed roof repairs or replacement."

"George and his crew just completed laying new underlayment on our clay tile roof. They did a fantastic job and we highly recommend him for any job! We have a 26 yr old, 2300 sq ft home, which had the original underlayment. After a leak, we contacted 3 contractors for estimates. George responded immediately and came out the next day. Our initial impression was he is honest and we weren't wrong. He didn't add all the unnecessary fluff the other guys wanted to add for a higher profit and came in at thousands below the other 2 bids. After we hired him he came back out to tarp the leak before it rained and until he could get the work done. I believe it was within 2 weeks from the initial contact until he got his crew out here. They were professional, thorough, clean, and fast. It took 2 days to complete our roof. There were no hidden fees and needing to fix or replace anything that didn't need fixing or replaced to increase profit. George's communication throughout the project was excellent. He provided updates, professional advice, and recommended a contractor to repair the drywall damage. We were extremely happy with the drywall repair and cost. We couldn't have repaired the drywall ourselves for much cheaper. We added George to our emergency contact list as our go-to repair man for not just emergencies, but also future projects. "Put in for the quote and got a response fast. We negotiated over the phone they are flexible. They were there the next day doing power wash. They also won't take money until you're satisfied. The paint job is great and they will come back and fix anything you can find afterwards. House was painted 3 days after contacting them. NOTE: All I would say if there are cracks or repairs you want fixed before they paint walk outside and mark them with something so they can see them otherwise they possibly won't be touched."
