He had to literally take the drier apart to find the defective parts and their part numbers, so yes, that one took a little longer than a few minutes. For that one we decided it’s more cost effective to get a new drier. He offered to put it back together but what’s the point? They’ll only haul it away, anyway. He’s friendly courteous with a no-nonsense demeanor. Angie’s list is right to recommend him. "

He was courteous and extremely professional. Plus, he went the extra mile to take apart our oven door, which resembled more of a Rubikâ s Cube with the amount of panels it had to clean out drips and spots that were trapped and visible. It was a lot of extra work and he did a fantastic job. The charges were super reasonable and we were really pleased with the end result. Jason the owner was wonderful to deal with and really helpful. "The Lake Appliance technician, Paul, was very professional and courteous. Paul informed me the compressor was quite expensive but felt that GE may well replace the item per the owner's manual.  I fully expected to pay for a house call, approximately $90.00 and was not charged.  I am so impressed with Lake Appliance that I will not hesitate to call them first should I have another appliance fail. <br> <br>A day earlier I had another appliance repair company to the house.  The technician was polite, but totally unprofessional.  He didn't even have a step-ladder and asked me for a chair so that he could check the refrigerator.  He then misdiagnosed the repair, stating that I needed an electronic board for the repair.  I looked over his estimate to repair the refrigerator and balked at the $390.00 estimate for labor to install the electronic board.  This was in addition to the $400 price he wanted for the board.  I questioned the suggested charges.   The warranty offered by this company was 'weak' compared to what Lake Appliance would have offered.  The competitor also told me that he would give us an additional 5% discount on labor if I would write a 5 star review for his company!  TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL   I paid the technician for the service call and walked him to the door.  Good riddance!! <br> <br>I have the utmost faith in Lake Appliance and will not hesitate to call them should I need appliance repair.  Believe me, I will share my positive feelings with friends and neighbors towards Lake Aopliance.  I will also share my negative feelings towards the competitor well as the name of the competitor. "This is the second time we had him repair our appliances and will continue to use Little City.  We had sent a pic of the dishwasher to him, showing the issue.  Had a phone call explaining the issue, so he was able to order the parts from that.  He is very nice, does good work at reasonable prices.  Based on this, I can go without the expensive maintenance contracts and pay as needed with Little City.  It will save money unless I have a major breakdown, at which point it is probably time for a new unit. <br />"
