"Jeremy and his tile installer Jose (aka "Chewy") made this challenging job a rewarding experience in more ways than one. The project was to renovate three 1870ish fireplaces. For two of these, we were using a subway tile to emulate a Victorian-era look. The third involved a combination of slate and decorative tiles. Naturally in this old house, nothing is square, level, or plumb. Furthermore, we had a firm deadline to be met. And as so often happens with jobs like this, there were unhappy surprises requiring more work and time by the contractor than was expected. Despite all this, Jeremy and Chewy arranged their schedules (even working on a holiday) and used their creativity to overcome the issues and complete the job by the date Jeremy had committed to. Furthermore, although the project clearly was more time-consuming and complicated than anticipated, Jeremy honorably held to his bid price. The quality of the work was excellent, again particularly so when considering the construction issues this old house threw at the guys. Throughout the process, Jeremy kept us regularly posted and was always very professional and responsive - he uses his smart phone's capabilities to provide near real-time communication. Chewy has been installing tile for over 20 years, and his experience as well as aesthetic sensibility really shows. For our 3rd fireplace, we discovered that the slate tiles were about a quarter-inch larger both length and width than the decorative tiles; that required Chewy cutting the stone tiles to fit - slate is a challenging material to work with but Chewy handled it with ease . Chewy also ensured that the layout of the disparate slate tiles along with decorative tiles was done in the most eye-pleasing fashion. Altogether, the final result is spectacular. On Chewy's phone he keeps a library of past projects which proves that his design and craftmanship skills are nothing short of exceptional. I would not hesitate even one moment to give my highest recommendation to Jeremy and Chewy for any tile installation project. Thanks again, guys!"

"<p>Have used Severin Assamoi of Deck Domain for several years to refresh our decks.  This year we also asked him to do interior (unfinished wood) of our screened porch.  He did a beautiful job cleaning off the mildew and reapplying stain.  However, it took  two weeks for the floor of the stained porch to dry.  </p> <p>  We did have high humidity during that time and rain a couple of days, and the flooring area is always shaded.  The porch  is roofed/screened and a ceiling fan was running constantly.  I don't know if the wood was oversaturated with the preservative/stain product, or if it was due to the weather that it took so long to dry.  We had to have the porch furniture sitting in our carport for two weeks which was inconvenient.  </p> <p>However, the final product looks like something out of a magazine.  We'd definitely use him again.</p> <br />"

"The job encompassed pressure washing the whole house, walkway, driveway, patio, deck, and garden fence - then sealing the deck with semi-transparent stain and the fence with solid stain. Alain met me after work one day, examined the site and provided a written estimate and projected start date by email. Alain and Dylan arrived on the appointed date and went to work. Pressure washing took all day as they were extremely thorough, using high and gentle pressure as appropriate, and redoing areas until they were satisfied. After a day to dry, they returned to seal the deck and fence. This involved a lot of detailed painting by hand rather than sprayer, especially around the Azek deck, and took most of the day. The results were excellent and better than we anticipated because Alain had suggested blending two different shades of stain for the deck that brought out the grain of the wood. Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant to work with, thoroughly professional and expert in what they did. Word of mouth has left them much in demand so plan ahead if you intend to engage their services. They are highly recommended."

"Had received a quote from someone locally, but decided to use KDL because he was on Angie's list. Kevin pressure washed the house exterior, driveway and walkways; nailed down loose siding and trim; caulked all siding and trim joints, and applied 2 coats of Premium Sherwin Williams Super paint on the siding, wood trim, gutters, downspouts, doors and metal roof pieces. Total Project time was 3 days, with the first day for pressure washing. Kevin and his crew were quite professional, and answered any questions I had as the work progressed. We will definitely use them again when we start inside painting."
