I appreciate his willingness to take on a small project (replacing old countertops with new laminate and tile backsplash) with as much professional attention as bigger projects. He's also good about advising what kinds of materials fit the age of the house, keeping what I'd call the historical integrity in mind. They work efficiently and quickly, checking with me as questions arose. The kitchen and outdoor "workshop" areas were tidied up at the end of the day. I worked with other contractors on a big project (significant repairs after a huge tree fell on my house six years ago) and that was an awful experience including overcharging, non-existent change orders, lack of communication, and, ultimately, poor workmanship. Richard and Trimco have re-established my faith in his profession. Trimco is a great small company! The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."
