"We were delighted with the service. Steven Lewis was the one that came out to the house. He was great but there was a snag. They contacted us and told us that we needed to have a little more work on the chimney and they gave us an outrageous price. The service was wonderful and Steven was wonderful. He gave us good information. We couldn't say better things about them and then they blindsided us. My husband went into the garage and grabbed some grout and did it in about 5 minutes. They wanted to charge us almost $300. My husband was quite irritated because he knows chimneys. Steven absolutely left not a shred of mess. He was delightful and fantastic until they came with this bogus amount. He said the grout was coming apart. The service was top drawer until they tried to get more money out of us by vastly overstating the costs. The service itself was very good. Their secondary services are inflated and we would advise getting a second opinion for additional work. We were really irritated and we will not use them again. The price was a little high but it was satisfactory for the bay area for the work they did. The quality of the work was exceptional."

He gave me the option of deferring the cleaning for several months, which would save the added cost. I chose to have the cleaning done instead of scheduling a second visit. "Westco was amazing. their bid came in thousands lower than two other bids we received. they were effecient, professional and very happy workers...actually singing on the job! the forman checked in often and kept me up to date on the progress and procedures. they replaced several pieces of rotten wood around the edges of the roof as well. replaced some broken supports under the roof also. we were living inn the house at the time and all went very smoothly and all was cleaned up when done. highly recommend."
