"Christian and his crew did a great job on our bathtub replacement with a large shower. Tile work is excellent, crew was very personable and helpful. Job was done professionally and finishes are great. An additional job replacing fascia on our house was done very well and quickly. I would recommend Seven Degrees for any remodeling work needed."

"Taped and sanded one car garage. Epoxied the garage floor. Next day cracks appeared. Asked him if I come back to look at them and repair and never showed up. Told me it was the cement floor. Had several contractors look at the cracks and they told me the floor wasn?t prepped properly and epoxy was applied too thick. It will now cost more money to repair. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Sunset Beach, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
