T&G came in below the other roofing company by a considerable amount and only slightly above the GC. They provided very clear estimate documents and despite warning me of possible overages based on things they might discover after starting the repair came in exactly at their estimate. They were on-time, finished in the time estimated, were very clean and professional. I recommended them to several other folks who came by and asked since seeing them on my roof."

"I heartily recommend Eclipse Remodeling. I needed new fascia boards in addition to a new roof. Over the course of a month, I collected quotes from 8 different vendors, but I couldn’t find a roofer who would give me a reasonable price for both; either the roof quote or fascia board quote was exorbitantly high or too low, or I would need to hire a separate contractor for each. Fortunately, the 9th vendor I met was Eclipse Remodeling. Its quote for both roof & fascia boards fell somewhere in the middle, price wise. The owner Udi is super knowledgeable and straightforward; I honestly believe that he bases his recommendations on quality and value as if he were installing a roofing system on his own house. I had a ton of questions (shingle durability, solar reflectivity, possible house paint color combinations, etc) and he took the time to carefully explain and address my concerns. I also appreciated that he didn’t pressure me into an immediate, on-the-spot hiring decision like some of the others. His crew members were very efficient and courteous. They were able to complete our roof in 2 days and cleaned up everything before leaving each day. I was very impressed with the overall professionalism of Eclipse Remodeling. TL; DR. Although I received cheaper bids from elsewhere, the excellent service, workmanship, and most importantly, peace of mind was well worth the cost difference. I knew I could trust Udi. We now have an amazing looking roof with a lifetime warranty. I had an extremely positive experience with him & his team and highly suggest hiring them for your new roofing needs."

"I was looking into replacing my 20+ yrs tile roof to the Tesla solar roof but after months of waiting (I pre-ordered the solar roof and it was stuck at the design phase), Tesla told me that they no longer serve my area and refunded me the money. As I was looking for an alternative, I came across GAF's solar shingles and I was very interested in them. Guardian Roofs is GAF's certified installer in SoCal area. Larry from Guardian Roofs reached out to me within a day after I filled out the "Request for a Quote" form on GAF's website. Told me about their company and we chatted about my needs for the new roof and solar system. Within the next few days, he sent me a proposal, explained every single detail to me carefully and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. He truly enjoy working with Larry because he would find out the answers for any questions he wasn't able to answer on the call and actually called me back and explained them to me thoroughly. I called/emailed six roofing companies/contractors, only four responded within the first week with a quote. The quote from Guardian Roofs was the second lowest (cheaper than Tesla's solar roof). The other three quotes were traditional solar panels and reroof using the existing tiles. I quickly decided to go Guardian Roof's quote not only it's much cheaper than Tesla's solar roof, but their panels also looked much nicer than the traditional ones. My only concern was that without the space between the rack and roof, how would the heat generated by the panels being released? I asked Larry this question and he explained to me but I didn't quite understand, so I asked the owner, Justin, the same question during the installation and he explained to me by showing me the actual products. Turned out the combination of the underlaying sheet, GAF's Timberline Shingles and the actual panels were playing a big part in handling the heat. The installation took a week to complete. I'm very pleased that the owner himself actually came out a couple of days and climbed on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. He was also there to answer all of my questions about the job. Additionally, GAF sent a technician from the San Jose headquarter to oversee the installation of the panels. Not the mention William (the lead installer from Guardian Roofs) and his crew did a great job cleaning up the area after the job was completed."

"We cannot say or write enough good things about Jacob and his company 4 Seasons Remodeling & Design! Jacob was quick to respond during the entire project. He made sure to visit the house at least 3-4 times a week, and his quote was well within our budget. He gave us several remodeling options and provided us with many suggestions while respecting our priorities. "Working with Joe and team at Shulman Roofing was a great experience!  I have dealt with many contractors, and my experience with this team was by far the best I have experienced.  Joe showed up very prepared for the initial estimate.  Brought samples and literature for all the products that he installed.  Helped with selection of materials and explained in detail how the process would work.  When I asked for multiple samples to lay on the roof, they showed up on my doorstep the next day.  Entire project lasted 5 days.  First 3 days were spent repairing damage.  Repairs were very complex, including multiple rafter tails and T&G sheathing.  Any issues I pointed out were repaired immediately.  Repairs ended up flawless.  Shingle and flat roof took about 2.5 days.  All flashing, channels and vents look excellent.  It is easy to see that Joe's team has spent many years in the industry.  All materials were cleaned up and house looked good as new at completion.  I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider Joe for your project.  Throughout the project he was very responsive to all questions, and I even got daily updates with pictures of any repair work that was being done. <br />"

"I got 4 quotes for removing the two layers of old roof and replacing it with composite shingles.  There was also a small piece of flat roof on the front of my house, over the garage, to be replaced.  Mike was the LB Roofing rep who did the bid and supervised the job.  Mike was the most responsive and thorough of the 4 bidders.  Others did quick quotes looking only at the outside, so were unaware of factors that could only be observed from inside the house's walk-in attic space.  Another persisted in trying to sell me things I didn't want.  Mike looked at the whole house, inside and out, and discussed options that I was considering, and provided a bid that covered those options.  <br /> Long Beach Roofing was able to provide a plywood base that incorporates a radiant heat barrier (foil) to diminish the heat gain on my second floor.   They offered a variety of shingle types and grades, and heat-applied sheet roofing for the flat portion.  They were willing to coordinate work with the solar panel installers.  The roofing part of the project took 4 days - the solar panels were installed after the roof was complete, so the total project lasted 7 work days.  <br /> Mike monitored the weather, and we agreed to postpone the installation one week due to rain forecast for the morning when the roof would have been open, between the removal and plywood installation days.  He arranged for the city's inspection of the plywood to be  on the same day that the solar installers were mounting the stands for the solar panels.  The next two days the shingles and flat roof were installed. <br /> The workers were on time every day, they covered the plants near my house with tarps to protect them from falling debris, and they cleaned up the debris at the end of each day.   The city inspectors approved the work with no issues.  Mike was very thorough and communicated with me daily to keep me posted on the schedule for the day.  He also stayed in touch with the solar installer and made sure they had all the info they needed about the design of my house, to place a solar-powered attic fan in the most effective spot on the roof.  There were no unexpected costs or delays. <br /> I am very pleased with this project, and definitely recommend Long Beach Roofing.  My only suggestion to Mike was to let homeowners know that the removal of the old roof is really really noisy, so they can plan accordingly.  Installation of the new roofing is much quieter than removal of the old, so only the first day had a disruptive noise level."

"Hector Lopez, the owner, is intelligent and honest. I really like the guy, and trust him. The work he did seemed expensive for what it is but I really don't have anything to compare it to. Still, I would choose to spend a little more and know it is being done properly. He used torch down material to repair our rock roof because he says it holds better than doing a hot mop repair. He also does hot mop roofs, which we will probably need to do in 5-7 years. I'll start saving now!"
