"Everyone at Brandi Carpet was great. I had checked 3 carpet dealers and Brandi had the best quality at the best price by far. I was able to bring a sample home so that I was able to choose a color in the room where it was going to be installed. The measuring and ordering went perfectly. The carpet installers came when they said they would and did and excellent job of removing the old carpet and installing the new. I love how it looks and was thrilled with the whole process. I definitely recommend Brandi Carpet."

"The worst flooring company! Outrageously expensive. If there was an option for zero stars that's exactly what I'd give. Took advantage of a terrible situation. No compassion and took over 3 weeks for installation. Not sure how they are getting 5 stars. Low quality. Absolutely horrible. Had to replace the $13000 floors from this company less than 2 years later."

"My experience with Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning was outstanding!!! My carpet had severe buckling in every room and was badly in need of cleaning. I was pretty certain it was time to replace it; however, I wanted the opinion of a carpet repair expert first. I conducted a Google search and found Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning. I viewed their website, liked what I saw, conducted some additional research, and gave them a call. The customer service was exceptional… from scheduling my appointment with Kim, to the guys from Core Movers who moved my furniture, to the repair and cleaning performed by my technician Brandon. Brandon was highly professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about ALL facets of carpet installation, repair, and cleaning. It was quite evident he is passionate about his work. He took the time to explain his plan of action and set proper expectations for the outcome. He also provided suggestions for aftercare to prolong the life of my carpet. Brandon performed the job with the utmost care. He was neat, clean, and did not leave marks on my walls and baseboards from the equipment. This was a huge concern because of previous experiences with other carpet cleaning companies. When the job was complete, I was truly amazed and blow away! The repair and cleaning far exceeded my expectations. Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning’s slogan, “Don’t Replace it, Repair it” was absolutely true in my case. Because of this experience, I am now a life-long customer of Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning. Please check them out for yourself. I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the service and results."

"We used Travis and his team a few years ago when we put down laminate flooring. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and results, so naturally, when we bought our new home, we wanted to use them again. When it came to picking out the vinyl and carpet, Travis and Nicole were super helpful and extremely patient (trust me, I went through a LOT of samples!). Their pricing can't be beat and everything was ordered and delivered in time for installation. They referred us to John Sullivan to install the flooring and he and his partner Tyson did an amazing job and seriously could not be nicer guys. I'm in LOVE with my new floors! They were on time and respectful of our home and time. Travisreferred us to Jon Rumniz for carpet installation and we were pleased with him and his team as well! They worked quickly and efficiently. Finding dependable guys is so hard these days, so we were extra appreciative at how smoothly and pleasant the entire process went. We can not recommend these guys enough!! Thank you!"

"Everything went smoothly. We loved that selection and quality of finishes/products. Response time was excellent. If we had a question they got right back to us. The contractors they hire are top quality. The customer service was outstanding. FloorEver Interiors did what they said they would do and they were on schedule and on budget. Very good firm to work with."

"Perhaps the most terrible customer service Ive ever experienced from a company. Brought our Persian rug to be repaired (tassels needed to be redone). The first thing when we dropped off the rug the owner and his son say "I wouldn't pay $80 for this piece of s***". We took it with a grain of salt because some people lack social intelligence and it's not worth arguing. The owner confirmed that the tassels will be redone and quoted us $620. Fast forward 2 weeks later with no updates, I called and asked if the rug was finished. Apparently it was. I picked up the rug and when I unwrapped it, the tassels had not been touched at all. I called in to which the son answered. I asked if they had possibly missed the tassels? He became extremely defensive saying I needed to bring the rug in and ask his Dad. I asked if I could just speak to him on the phone as I live 45 minutes away. Turns out his Dad is "in the middle of no where in Mexico". The son then said "You'll get your refund and never call back here again" and hung up the phone. I had my husband call because maybe I upset him? Turns out the son might have anger problems because again he said to my husband "I'll call you whenever I feel like it" and hung up again. Keep in mind this guy is probably in his late 30's. He shouldn't be in charge of customer service if he has issues. I've attached photos of their "work". They also keep their dog in the shop which jumps on top of and sleeps on all of their rugs for sale and the clients rugs."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Surprise, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
