Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. We were looking at metal roofing first and learned quickly that these folks know a lot about the options, potential issues and installation. Ultimately we went with CertainTeed asphalt shingles due to supply chain price increases for metal, a limited color selection, and because I tend to walk on my roof for a few reasons. On the 1st scheduled day the crew arrived on time and ready to work. They hung tarps and netting to collect all debris and protect shrubs , etc. They moved fast and efficiently with a big enough crew to clear old shingles and start installing new by mid-afternoon. At the end of the day they cleaned everything up, and I do mean everything. By end of day two they were done, once again cleaning everything before leaving. We were very impressed with Global and definitely recommend them for your roofing project."

"A representative from the company came out promptly to survey the job bringing a very comprehensive brochure describing all aspect of the work including shingle options, ice dam prevention, ventilation and under-shingle materials. I was provided with an estimate promptly that was very competitive. All follow up emails and calls were answered immediately. The new roof looks great and the property was cleaned completely. "Tom called to asked if he could arrive a bit early (!!) and arrived exactly at the newly arranged time.
He jumped right into his consultation, literally jumping off the porch into the tiny ditch dug four feet below grade to expose a small section of the foundation.  After spending significant time assessing the situation at the foundation, he carefully consider the sill, framing, roof planes, and all other relevant physical details of the space, both inside and out.  He then gave us a detailed recommendation.  He allowed ample time for us to write notes and patiently answered all of our questions and desire for clarification on a few issues.

"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"I own some rental property that I don't live in and I contacted Rich to come out because the roof on a small addition was leaking. He came out pretty quickly, I did not have to be present which is always nice because it's difficult for me to get out there during the week. The day after Rich came out I had the quote for the roof replacement in my email. The cost was on the lower side of three quotes I had for the job. I contacted Rich to tell him I liked the proposal and to schedule the job, they came out a week and a half later and replaced the roof. It looks good and no longer leaks! One of the reason's I was so impressed with this company is that when I received the proposal to repair the roof it noted that some of the plywood was rotted and may need to be replaced,it gave a price to have all the roof decking done. When the crew was at the property they did find that several of the plywood sheets needed to be replaced. The crew took the time to photograph the rotted wood so that I knew and could see they were damage and they weren't trying to inflate the price. That kind of attention to detail is why I recommend this company and will use them again."
