"I contacted A Advanced Chimney Services after finding them recommended on Angi. Denise, the owner, was helpful, respectful, and responsive while assisting me with issues related to my gas fireplace. She scheduled her team promptly, which I appreciated. Although the technicians were unable to resolve the issue during their visit, I am satisfied with the final outcome, as Denise addressed my concerns and provided a full refund. I did express concern regarding the technicians using my master bathroom, which was not an area of the home they needed to access. Denise acknowledged this as a lapse in professionalism and a breach of trust, and she handled the matter appropriately. Overall, while the service visit did not resolve the technical issue, I appreciate the professional way my concerns were ultimately addressed.n myself. After lighting the fireplace using the remote (the technicians had replaced the batteries), carbon buildup quickly reappeared on both the logs and the grate, indicating the issue had not been resolved. In addition, the technicians used both the half bathroom and the master bathroom without permission. Soot marks were left on doors, door frames, light switches, and nearby walls in both bathrooms, as well as on a closet door in the master bedroom. Access to the master bathroom was not authorized and was unrelated to the contracted service. I contacted Denise via text to report the unauthorized bathroom use, the soot damage, and the continued carbon buildup (texts available). Denise stated it would cost an additional $250 for the company to return to clean the burner and replace the glowing embers again, despite already charging $125 for new embers during the initial visit. She also indicated there was no clear timeframe for a return visit and suggested I clean the burner myself to avoid the additional charge. Since that conversation, I have attempted to contact Denise multiple times by phone and text without receiving any response. Based on my experience, the service did not resolve the original issue, resulted in additional cleanup and damage, and follow-up communication was poor."
