"We had a great experience with Alex and his crew! We purchased our fixer upper almost five years ago. It has Cedar Plank siding and we expected a lot of issues, which we got. The best part about Alex is he is easy. He is easy to work with, he easily helps you problem solve to fit your budget, and he helped me relax and not stress so much as issues cropped up - such as wasps nest in the house behind the chimney, a lot of rotted boards, and an entire wall that hadn’t even had vapor barrier applied and needed to be replaced. Alex would swing by and check in on things every other day or so, or if I needed him. He was very responsive and attentive. His crew, who were here every day, were great to work with even when I changed some colors around or otherwise switched things up. Friendly and respectful when I had questions, needed suggestions, or just some reassurance. We had a big job here, it took two weeks in 95+ degree temperatures. Weather alone is enough to make anyone lose their minds. Not these guys. These guys never lost their cool or their cheerfulness. I respect that a lot. The reason we picked A. Parker Contracting has a lot to do with how he presented himself while reviewing the house for the estimate. I’d done some research on how things should happen, and he answered my questions about his process but he also explained how and why he would do certain things and when. Not all the contractors who came out to bid would do this. He wasn’t the lowest bid but he wasn’t the highest bid either. He wasn’t trying to ‘sell’ me. At the end of the day and at the end of this project I think they did an outstanding job. It is obvious they just want their customer’s home to look great and for them to be happy."

"From estimate to all follow ups we had a great experience. Highlights- * Estimate was in the middle of several we received. It was the lowest one we took seriously. * All work was supervised by the family owner or foreman (also a family member). * Multiple day project - each day they were punctual and made sure to minimize disruption when possible (they were breaking concrete so a jack hammer was needed). * Clean up - very good. * Permits were posted in the window and their insurance checked out. * End product was exactly what we agreed on in the estimate. IF you have time to read a little.... Phil is a great guy. Easy to talk to and he listens to what we want. Like I said above the work went smoothly and we ended up with exactly what we wanted... A DRY BASEMENT!!! Yes! And we were no longer worried that our foundation was going to settle/ or collapse any more. They have a lifetime guarantee and we have put it to the test. Phil has come out three times since the work was completed. I am embarrassed to say that the last one was my own fault but I wasn't charged for any of them. 1. Came out to refit the sump pump drainage pipe that had a very small leak. This was the only one that I see as an actual fix. 2. I saw some very small cracks that had a bit of moisture around them. Phil came out and applied some sort of adhesive or mastic to the entire perimeter, not just the areas of concern. To be honest this was probably caused by the thing we discovered in the third visit but I still wasn't charged. 3. Phil came out again when I had a large puddle.... totally my fault. I had turned off the sump pump to do some electric work in the basement and didn't turn it back on. Phil came out and investigated trying to find the cause of the problem and was friendly and fine with it even when we found out the sump pump wasn't turned on. Throughout the whole experience Phil and his crew were professional but friendly. I have complete confidence that they will provide quality results, and if anything is discovered after the fact their warranty is proven to be reliable."

"Job was on time and on budget. We even added a floor to the attic and a drop down ladder to utilize full storage space after the job was begun and they still finished on time (2 days before Christmas) and we were ready to go with our annual family Christmas party for 30 ! Their price was quite competitive and I was very impressed with the quality of their work. The entire house was painted and hardwood floors that were very damaged were redone. Once the kitchen was opened they had to find some hardwood to match the floor since tile had been there and they did a beautiful job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

Andrea, their office manager, made it all possible with her expert office management skills. We finished signing the contracts April 17, 2017 Work was supposed to begin 2 weeks later, and take 1 week. We kept in touch via email, phone and direct contact with Russell Roofing, GreenSky (their financial company) and our local township codes and zoning regulations department. The extra time and effort that we put in paid off. several days in advance, we had to arrange with our neighbors about parking, because, parking on our street is a premium, especially when it comes to construction projects Delivery of materials: May 09, 2017 (several hours, due to all the telephone wires and such, causing interference with equipment) Construction of new roof: May 10, 2017 (7 am - 8 pm, they had 5-8 people here pretty much all day and night in extreme heat. I fed them water bottles all day. Gave them all generous tips. Let one man use my bathroom. They were extremely politely and soft spoken. hey constantly looked out for my safety and my husband's, whenever we were outside the house. The noise level was far less than I expected. I was able to enjoy the day at home (although it was a little warmer than usual inside lol) I caught up on some TV/DVR. Cleanup: May 11, 2017 they removed the giant waste in parked in front of our house, as well as any debris that was left from yesterday. Dan patrolled the property searching for nails, etc. If there are any problems we can call them for follow-ups. These people are amazingly professional. ou will have to actively be a part of the process, ask a ton of questions, keep in constant contact, fill out a on of paperwork, do some driving around, etc.... but, the process is work it. OMG ONE DAY to put up a new roof!"
