"We bought the top of the line.  They did an excellent job.  It was the highest grade of carpet they had.  It turned out well.  It was the first time we used them for anything.  They are going to be doing more work for us in about a month.  They are going to be putting in quartz countertops, replacing our sink, and replacing the tiling along the backsplash with decorative tiling."

"They did move some big furniture, and then moved it back for me. I did have most of the furniture moved. I have used this company for about five years. The carpet was not stretched properly, and the contractors had to come back, and re-track the carpet. I did use the leftover carpet for a drop rug in the garage."

"There was a little confusion when the men first arrived about moving my furniture to clean the carpets. I was told they do not move furniture and could not move my couch and 2 chairs. I told them then I did not need their services and to leave. I was so mad I called the company and the owner got on the phone. He came out himself and explained that the man do not move furniture on commercial cleanings but they do on residential. The men he had usually do commercial. The men moved everything I needed moved furniture wise and the owner stayed the entire time and even cleaned the carpets with them and moved furniture. I was very impressed. My carpets looked wonderful. I had a company prior to them 4 months ago and they looked good for a few days then i seen the filth that they left in my carpet. Well Quality carpet passed my white sock test. I walked all over my carpets when they dried in my white socks and they were still white. I am actually going to call them in the morning to come back out since my son had a huge spill on my couch before the holidays.
Thank you for making things right and having suck a great bunch of guys. I could not have asked for a nicer group of people to clean my carpets.

"They were awesome. They used the contractors. They have some built-in process. They have warranty. Their warranty, their follow up on the job and everything else is superior. They literally stand behind their warranty 100%. I had some entry way tile and there was some cracking in it. There was a big problem with the first installer. They came out, tore off the entire install and redid it at zero cost to me. There were some more that were cracking, but they came back within 2 days and had it fixed. I can’t ask for anything better. I would highly recommend Lowe’s to anybody. If they are close on the bid, they are worth it for the warranty. It was an awesome experience dealing with them. It really turned out to be one of the better choices of the contractors. They acted as contractors. I paid them and not the contractors. That was huge and anybody that’s looking at those kinds of setups for getting the installer from the retail side should really go to Lowe’s. If they have a company like Lowe’s acting as the contractor who stands behind the work, it’s great. There are a lot of other companies here locally who contract with the contractors and one might get lucky enough to see them again in their life. They would give the warranty, but not stand behind the work. That isn’t the case with Lowe’s. They are a pretty large organization and they stand behind. I’ve had them do that. I’ve had them do shower doors and carpets. I’ve had them do a ton of stuff and I would love to use them because I know that if there’s ever an issue, I can call them back and they would take care of it. They don’t even grumble or anything. They are just awesome. I’ve used them on multiple projects. They don’t beat anyone’s price alongside with the excellent warranty and standing behind it. They’ll match anything. Overall, it’s been a great experience."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Sweetwater, TX

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
