"The work that was done was on a rental house that we own. Since we do not live in that state, we have yet to stop by and view the work ourselves. We had hoped to stop by prior to sending in our review, but realize that time is going by. However, our tenant who is a very long term tenant, as well as very discerning, has sent us pictures and has stated that he felt it was a good job. Also, the fact that when he quoted the job he indicated that he could not give a definite price for the exterior wall that had dry rot in it until he removed that part of the wall to see if there was more damage than could be seen by looking at it prior to removal. When we got the invoice Jack had indicated that there was no further damage behind the exterior wall and that the price quoted was what we were to pay. Thus, we feel he has done an excellent job and is also very honest. We will definitely have him do any further repairs that are needed at our rental. Another thing that impressed us was that he was very busy when we first contacted him and told us that he probably would not be able to get to the job for a couple months. However, he made time to meet with us at the house when we were in town to give us a quote and he completed the job before we expected. Again, we definitely will have him work for us again!!"

"We have a faux deck above our front entry where the railings needed replacing.  Scott Lewis was the only contractor that pulled out a ladder and looked closely at the job.  He indicated that there might be some rot under where the deck rails connected, but couldn't tell the extent until it was torn apart.  He quoted to replace and rebuild of the railings to match what was there before.  He was the best price of 4 contractors by half.  Once he had the deck apart, to replace the posts, he did find rot that he showed us.  We told him to go ahead and replace the rotted wood.  He did a great job with everything he did for us.  It took about 4 days to do the entire job and he was at our home when he said he would be.  Even after the additional work for the rotted deck, the price came in below the other construction company estimates.

"Ron did an excellent job removing the built in shelving in my garage. He arrived on time and was very communicative the entire way. This was definitely a timely job and he completed it in the timeframe he gave me. He even patched the walls and hauled everything for me. Super straightforward which I love. Office was very unprofessional when I requested to use an Angie's List coupon that is still available online. Home Team denied the request. I indicated this would be reflected in my reviews, and one representative told me it would be honored. A later email response said they would not and that it is the responsibility of the customer to inquire about coupon validity before scheduling a job. I do not really agree.
