"This was our second time using Diaz for our painting and home renovations. Once again he and his team did an amazing job. For this job, we had Diaz paint our hallway and master, redo our stairs and stair railing, re-finish and stain the hardwood floors, remove old baseboard heaters, and do a complete renovation of our upstairs bathroom (new paint, new floors, new vanity, new toilet, new lighting, new exhaust fan, etc.). He also helped haul out old furniture, removed an old (non-functional) oil gas tank from the basement, and replaced a broken storm door. One of the great things about working with Diaz is that the answer is always yes. His team is more than just painters - he has skilled craftsmen, workers with expertise in plumbing and electric, and everything else. There is no need to deal with anyone else. If you need something done in (or around) your house Diaz either can do it or has a guy. After contacting Diaz, he came right out for a free estimate. He listened carefully to what we wanted but also made a number of important suggestions to improve the results. Each day his team was hard at work - they were trustworthy and courteous, and cleaned up perfectly each day. Diaz goes the extra mile to make things convenient - including hauling away trash/junk, recommending a local showroom, and picking up materials that we had ordered for the job. As with any major project, there were a few bumps in the road. But Diaz worked through the curveballs with good communication. They finished on-time and on budget, and the results were perfect. "A huge thank you to Dan and his team at The Kitchen & Bath Studio in Gaithersburg for a superb job. I needed a toilet replaced, a tub faucet replaced and a shower spout replaced. The tub faucet wasn't easy and involved removing a piece of tile to access the faucet. Not only did they remove the existing tile without ruining the surrounding tiles, but a new tile was expertly replaced and looks like it was always there. "I recently contracted Victor to do a couple projects on my home and was very pleased with his work. I first needed roof cleaning services to remove some algae and stains that had built up on shaded and northerly exposed areas of my roof. Victor worked carefully and meticulously to fully clean the roof and restore it to good condition. I also needed repairs to the roof fascia and a section of aluminum siding that had been damaged by a fallen tree branch. Other contractors I spoke with claimed that I couldn’t repair just a section of the siding and would need to replace the entire wall to avoid a mismatch of old and new colors. However, Victor was able to remove the damaged section of siding, replace it with a new section and then paint the new siding with an exact match in paint color so that it was impossible to tell where the damage had been. I was very happy with the quality of Victor’s work and his willingness to figure out a way of inexpensively replacing and painting over the damaged parts of my siding. l would definitely recommend his services."

"In the middle of some kitchen renovations, we learned that a sink that we had bought to replace the existing sink was too large for the hole in our granite countertop. This was only after the old sink had been pulled out so we were without a functioning kitchen sink. I called Blue Isle on the afternoon of August 5 and spoke to co-owner Tamara who promised to speak with Ike, the other co-owner, to see if they would be able to cut the countertop in place so that the new sink could be installed. Tamara called me back in less than 15 minutes and confirmed that they could do the job the following afternoon. On August 6, Ike came on time with a two man crew and went to work. He measured the new sink and the space where it would have to go and commenced cutting. Within an hour, the job was done, the sink was fitting properly into the countertop, and Ike and his crew had cleaned up the dust created by the cutting operation. Blue Isle's responsiveness and quality of work were both excellent. We would use them for other stone and tile work without question."
