"William MacKay Roofing is a family business.  I purchased a package from this company to have my roof inspected since more than 20 years have passed since it had been replaced.  The MacKays arrived promptly as stated when we made the appointment. The employees were very professional, my roof was inspected, and I was shown pictures of my roof with an explanation of the its condition.  Since my roof did not need to be replaced, I advised Mr. MacKay that I would call him to replace my roof when that time came.  I was very satisfied with the services provided by this company and would definitely use them again because of the excellent services that I received with this inspection.

"A+ for ethics and professionalism. The repair on our old and non-standard roof was tricky and ultimately didn't last (roof leaked within 14 months). However, when the owner was contacted (he's busy so it took a while) he came out personally and arranged for an alternative fix to the roof. The owner, Dave Garner, did this at no charge, without being asked. We still don't know if we have a permanent solution but we're really impressed with Dave and the company's business practices. We would be pleased to use them for any future roofing repairs (although we hope we don't have any!)."

"We had been having leaking in our ceiling near our chimney for almost a year, despite having had our roof and gutters and having our chimney flashing redone last year. After a number of frustrating follow-ups with our original roofer and chimney repair company, we called S&K, which came highly recommended on our community page. Sean came out within two weeks despite a very busy rainy season. He checked our roof and told us quite honestly that the problem was not the roof or even the flashing, which had been done well but the porousness of our older bricks. He applied some silicone sealant right then and told us to call him again if it didn't work after the heavy rains this weekend; he also mentioned we should just keep periodically reapplying this sealant ourselves. This leak has stressed us out for months and Sean was extremely honest and helpful. He didn't try to sell us any expensive repairs but was upfront about the problem. The level of professionalism, knowledge and service exhibited by Sean and everyone we spoke with is so rare nowadays; we can't recommend him or S&K highly enough."

"As expected, Jim's services were excellent. His team is fast, pleasant and quite experienced. We've now been through 70+ mph wind storm and winter snow. My gutter guards, along with the gutters he put up a year before (with a new roof) are handling strong weather so well. "We experience a major leak in our ceiling dining room.  K&R came out an inspected the attic and found a roof air vent that was installed across my entire roof peak had been leaking for years, he explained the necessary steps to fix the issue (replace entire roof and installed solar powered fan to vent the attic). The wood on the roof in the attic was rotting and growing some sort of "organic material". He covered my roof with a tarp. The quote was reasonable given the amt of work that needed to be done. The material arrive in about a week and the next day after the material arrived they started the work. Even though it was cold, they finished the work in one day. They cleaned up all trash from the old roof. I am very happy that my roof is fixed and looks great. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional doing their roof repairs or replacement who uses top quality material and workers.

"The crew arrived at 8:30am. They put tarps over my foundation flowerbeds. by 9:00am, old roofing materials were being dropped onto the tarps. Some fo the workers bundled the shingles and hand-carried to the roof edge, refuse-trailer was parked. The old shingles were dropped into the refuse-trailer. By 10:30am, the tarps were rolled up and taken to the refuse-trailer in wheelbarrows so as not damage my front lawn's septic field. by 11:00am, workers were inspecting my yard for stray roofing, picking them up by hand. A large flatbed truck arrived by 11:35am, loaded with my new roofing materials. After the materials were off-loaded, the workers set up ladders, and hand-carried everything to the roof. After that was completed, a small generator was set up for air nailers, and they began installation of my new roof. By 4:00pm, they began the final cleanup. Trash was picked up and put into the refuse-trailer. By 5:00pm, the work was done. A last-minute inspection got rid of some leftover trash. The man leaf-blowing debris, even cleaned out my gutter! And before they took down all of the ladders, they even put my disconnected downspout back together! At 5:09pm, the refuse-trailer was covered, re-connected to the truck that brought it, and driven away. The roofing crew left at 5:25pm, but not before I thanked them. I told them how much I appreciated their hard work, and appreciated them taking time to re-connect my gutter's downspout as they completed their inspection of my yard."
