At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

I watched all day and was impressed that no cut corners came into the job. They were very careful to do it right.The team of roofers were under a capable supervisor. They â flexedâ and put a little extra (material or labor) in, when something unexpected was discovered, or a slight customization to make the result better was called for. "It went better than I expected! Sky Tech was recommended to us by our realtor who just had her roof replaced. I dealt with Blanca via e-mail when setting up appointments to get quoted and replace our roof, she was very helpful, polite, and responsive. Dave, the owner, came out to inspect our roof on a Saturday and sent me a quote on Monday. The quote was very detailed and extremely reasonably priced. I signed the quote, sent a check for half the quoted amount, and picked our shingle color. We were scheduled for the following Thursday. A pallet of supplies and materials were delivered two days prior. The Sky Tech crew arrived around 7:45 am and were finished with the job by 12 noon. They threw a netted tarp type of material around the entire house to catch all of the old roof shingles and other materials. Some guys were on the roof putting the new roof in place and some guys were on the ground cleaning up any materials that may have missed the tarp. Before leaving, they combed the perimeter of the house with a magnetic tool to pick up any nails or other metal objects. Dave, came by around 3:30 pm to inspect the completed job, take back any leftover roofing materials, and do a final scan of the property for any missed roof pieces or metal objects. He even nailed part of our soffit that had a little sag as well as removed a broken de-icer that was stuffed into the gutters from the previous home owners. Due to the structure of our house and property, we don't have the best vantage points to see our roof. I have attached a photo though of the new roof, best shot and angle I could get. I would and will definitely recommend Sky Tech for any roofing needs, as well as any other siding, window, or deck needs. I will definitely go to Sky Tech in 20-25 years when our roof needs to be replaced and when we decide to reside our house."

"This was a complete and positive experience in dealing with a contractor. Contacted JJs Roofing through the list along with 2 other companies. Had email and phone contact with the principals of each company and arranged for persons to come to the site to evaluate the project and make accurate measurements for a more detailed proposal. Within the same day of making the evaluations, I received 2 competitive bids to do the job. The third competitive bid was submitted sometime later after I committed to JJs and had the work completed! The scope of work was similar in all aspects and there was only a slight difference in the price. To their advantage, JJs proposed to do the job in 3 days while the other bids proposed 5 or 6 days. Because this is winter and the weather plays a huge factor in the roofing business, I opted for the 3-day make over where nice weather was predicted. In dealing with JJs owner John Johnston, he was helpful and extremely accommodating. He was mindful of my own circumstances of having to travel from out of town to be present during the project's work days. I was extremely grateful for this consideration. Once I accepted the JJs bid, a crew was sent back to the job site to remeasure for the replacements skylight and the access door. These are custom items so it is important to be accurate. The day of the job, JJs sent a crew led by Hector Ramos who along with another worker had done the preliminary evaluation. The men went about the job with speed, efficiency and care. The unusual break in the weather was great incentive for the men to work. After the first day, the old roof was torn off and general repairs to the underlying structure was begun and completed. The roof was covered with a tarp for the night. Day two, the men showed up promptly and continued their work. When I ventured to the roof top, Hector took the time to explain in great detail the entire process and timetable for the work. Because there where other elements involved beyond just laying down a new roof, I appreciated his explanations. I had a skylight replaced, a new roof access door installed, the relocation of the main drain and installation of a down spout, and the replacements of vent caps. The entire crew were courteous and extremely professional. By the end of the second day, I was sure I had made the right decision in choosing JJs. The final day and Hector assured me they would be finished on time and before the expected rains would come. I glanced at their progress throughout the day and saw the work completed on time. The men were extremely careful to clean everywhere debris landed in or around the work area on top and on the ground. When they left, the entire area was spotless! It was great having the highly skilled professionals from JJs Roofing working on this project. It is with high confidence that I recommend JJs Roofing for your roofing needs.
