This is my 1st extensive reno in my life. So watching HGTV and searching on Pinterest for months for ideas was exciting yet nerve racking. It's one thing to see the 30 min transformation by HGTV stars and another to be putting up your own money and time. Yes, I did go over the original estimate 'cause I had to get the nicer shower door, new tub and especially the smoothing out/matteing of the bathroom walls (which looked hideous textured in like a worn out off white - yuck). But it still wasn't outrageously over budget. Didn't put it on a credit card or anything. And it was my choice, not some potentially fake repair. Thank you, John, for a job well done.
