"I have two sets of solar panels on my roof - one section is 10 year old leased panels, and the other was purchased less than two years ago. Foolishly, I have never had either set of panels cleaned. I also wanted to make sure that everything was working as it should. When I called to make my appointment, I spoke with Josh and expressed what I was looking to have done. He told me about their Premium Solar Package which included several things: 1) a Multi-Point Inspection, 2) Monitoring of my Configuration, 3) Panel Washing, 4) providing a Solar Production Benchmark, and 5) Warranty Verification. I agreed that this was the package for me. On the day of my appointment, the technician, Israel, showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He thoroughly explained what he would be doing during his visit, and then proceeded to start inspecting and cleaning the panels. After he was finished doing his servicing, Israel took his time while thoroughly explaining his findings to me. It was exactly the information I was looking for to put me at peace of mind that every was working properly with my system. Additionally, he showed me before and after pictures of my solar panels so I could see how clean they were after his scrubbing of them. To say I was impressed with both the results and the friendly customer service would be an understatement! I thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone who needs their solar system cleaned, assessed, or repaired!"

"I have absolutely no complaints about Smart Solar Power. There was no pressure sales on the front end and the sales people were extremely knowledgeable about the county programs available (HERO here in San Bernardino County) to assist us in owning the panels. The installers did a neat and professional installation, right down to painting the conduit to match the house. The system has been on for 6 months now and I have been closely tracking the daily production versus the usage at Edison. We have been spinning the meter backwards, even when running an air conditioner. (However, when it hits over 100 degrees, I expect that we will use more than we produce. This is expected.) We have had no service issues nor any malfunctions so far."

"They did a good job. In retrospect, I would have leased the solar instead of purchased it. They were very nice and were very effective. I also have had other solar companies do solar projects for me for different houses, that one was probably five or six years ago. Lease is a better option for me, I think because you don't pay anything upfront, you just get a lease. They were very nice and very efficient. If I had it to do over, I would use sun-power solar panels instead of the ones they use which are stronger panels and I would have leased them. They were very good but since that time and maybe that wasn't available at that time but since that time, I've learned that leasing is a much better option. I don't know if they do leases now. I didn't compare cost to a lot of people at that time. They were very nice. They were very responsive and were very efficient. I would use them again only if they lease."

Our project presented a number of challenges, including a 250 foot run from the panels to the utility box,our desire to not route cable under the house eves / in attic, wanting best quality panels and inverters (not china crap), a long association approval process, wanting a TEDD monitoring system rather than the standard internet based ones mandated by big solar, etc. We had a number of proposals from the "Big Guys", and although they appeared to be a "safer" choice, we found that they simply could not meet all of our criteria. It was their way or the highway. Chris and his team were very professional and a true pleasure to work with. We would offer an unqualified recommendation for Active Solar.
