"The owner of the company came out on a Saturday to work on my sprinkler system. The system was in disrepair due to home owner neglict before I purchased this place. We walked through my entire system to see what was where, turned on the sprinklers manually to see how bad "bad" was. To my astonishment, the system was not as bad as I thought it would be. Roy figured out what was good/bad/ugly and gave me what I really needed to focus on. No upselling, no "replace everything and I'm happy to charge you", just straight talk and really professioal. "They done a ton of work over here and they are very good, very good! They are wonderful. Everybody else quoted us 2,3,4 times the amount they charged us and where some places said that we will not know how much to charge us until we will get in there. So, they came in and did their thing. We also had an electric board heater put a bathroom downstairs. That was okay. That was probably the only thing that I was dissatisfied with, but overall with all the massive amount of work we had them do, I wouldn't even bother reviewing that. That was incidental compared to everything else.
  The duct work was $4000. The flood system was $4000. I can't remember what they charged us for routing out pipes and everything. It was nothing by comparison.
  At least 2 people came out to do the work each time. They communicated very well. They listen to us and they did exactly what we wanted them to do. They worked very well with us, like one plumbing guy came out with a duct guy for the heating, and they talked together and then they talked about who was going to do what and when they was going to do it. They was crystal clear about their proposals and yeah, all good.

"Half of their work is very good. The other half is mediocre. They patched, acid etched and coated our 58 year old concrete porch with polymer modified coatings. Less than 6 months later the coating is worn and chipping off. They acid etched and coated the garage floor and said it would probably crack someday. Someday was 3 weeks. They removed the old wrought iron railings and installed new aluminum railings whose angles and placement do not match. They still have not replaced the small railing gate protecting the basement stairs. They installed Unilock Pavers. The pavers are basically level. They were supposed to repair and reinstall our chain link fence gate. They dug out one post and reset it leaning north. The gate was worse than before they started. We had to pay someone else to fix it so that it stays closed. They removed and replaced the asphalt driveway and did an excellent job but we spent 2 weeks with the driveway dug down to the clay with machinery and debris everywhere. The two river rock sections are very well done. They work, when they please. They say “we’ll be here tomorrow” and finally show up days later with increasingly outrageous explanations. This project is not finished and we are very displeased with the quality of the work and the way that Uptime Builders do business."
