Unfortunately, the house is brick and the door frame was built into the brick....the reason that this was a problem is because I could not find a new door at any of the standard places (Home Depot, Lowes) and had to have one custom-made by Capital City Millworks (cost just over $500.) <br /> Just Basements (Rob Adams) sent out a guy in the dead of winter to plane the door and get it installed quickly and efficiently...and for a fair price.  I felt bad for the carpenter because it was so cold working outside but he did a great job and my renters are very happy.  This is a good company and I will use them whenever I need something done...barring the unexpected (or even dealing with the unexpected...like having to plane and fit a custom door), they got the job done quickly and with excellent results for a fair price. <br />"

"Did skype to estimate truck size, movers called ahead, they were on time. Two really good guys! <br />They were careful packers. They were patient and flexible and the day ran long but they never lost their good moods. <br />We started at 8 am and finished the second home at 10pm. <br />They next day was driving. <br />The following day was unloading. They made good time and remained careful. <br />NOTHING was broken! I just finished unpacking and nothing was broken and I am amazed because I packed a lot myself and had past experiences with movers who were less careful with self-packed boxes.
