"Had old fluorescent lights.  This company specializes in replacing those old lights with new LED lighting highlighted by a new, finished, more up to date look along with a crown moulding trim. <br /> These guys KNEW what they were doing.  The job went perfectly and came out great. They had TWO rooms to do (kitchen and pantry) and finished in one day.  Left the house cleaner than it was when they started.  Couldn't be happier with the service and the finished product.  All in all, a wonderful experience. <br />"

"Hill Electric did a fantastic job. They were prompt with giving me an estimate. They are busy so it took a while to schedule the work but once scheduled they showed up on time and completed the work. I am thrilled with all the new lights. I am very pleased and if/when I need electrical work will hire Hill Electric again. To complete the work Hill needed to cut a number of holes in walls and ceilings. I was worried about getting repairs but Todd Hill, owner, reassured me that he knew a drywall guy who can repair walls and recreate existing textures. "I've used Brian 3 times for various projects.  I obtained his name from a lighting store sometime ago.  I have been glad they referred him.  He is very professional, clean and orderly in his approach to getting the job done.  He has always passed city inspection.  He completely wired my shop on the previous occasion and installed outdoor lighting and a remote switch for my corrals on another.  I would hire him again and highly recommend him.  On one occasion, a sensor went out, on one of my floodlights for a corral, shortly after the light was installed.  He responded and put in a new one for no charge.....now it works perfectly.  I've always appreciated a man that stands behind his work. <br />"

"He was satisfactory.  He updated the drainage in our yard and I would say he did a good job.  I think he came out and it was like reviewing what you have to see where the problems were.  They go through your addition - the sprinkler systems and the irrigation systems.  And then after that we hired him to update our drainage in our yard.  He did the work that we wanted him to do.  I got quotes that were much higher and some that were lower, so I guess the price for the work they did was probably "B."  Everything's working perfectly.  He was very responsive; he gave me his cell phone number.  He said he would show up between a certain time and I think he was late, but he called and then he showed up.  We were actually going to use him again but then we decided to hold off. "

"We have a backyard that is pretty much bare and in need of privacy and much more. We were overwhelmed with where to start and didn't want to plant anything or install any hardscape that might interfere with our future plans for a pool.  We called Kirk and he called back promptly and scheduled an appointment to come out.  He got a feel for what we wanted and the style we were going for by asking questions, showing us pictures and even by observing the way we had remodeled/decorated the inside of our house.  We had a couple other people come out and it seemed like they were used to one style and one way of doing things and didn't ask a lot about the look we wanted.  After Kirk finished the hardscape plans we were so excited with the outcome we wanted to move right along with the lighting, drainage and plants.  Kirk encouraged us to "sit with the hardscape plans" to make sure we were happy with everything.  After a week we decided we wanted to switch the locations of the fireplace and bbq which was an option Kirk had mentioned when he presented us with the plans.  Instead of rushing through the process to collect a paycheck and move on to the next job, Kirk was more concerned with us taking our time to be extra sure we were satisfied with the plans. After we approved the hardscape plans Kirk finished the plant, drainage and lighting plants a week later. We could not be happier with the finished plans and really enjoyed working with Kirk.  He is a great listener, very knowledgeable and great at what he does.  I would highly recommend him to anyone."

"<p>Seth and his crew did an outstanding job with our project. We had a basic plan of what we wanted to do prior to Seth coming out, but he made a few suggestions and modifications that really made a difference in the finished product. The crew was out early each day and were gone promptly at 3:30 which we appreciated very much as we have dogs that need to get out in their yard. Once the job was started, the crew came out every day until the job was completed. They also took the time each day before leaving to clean up any messes that were created. Another plus was Seth always communicated very well with us, returning our calls or e-mails promptly. We have had experiences with contractors in the past that would not show up or return our phone calls, but this didn't happen with Seth. He showed up when he said he would and he would let us know if he was running late. Seth and his crew also finished the job in less than two weeks time which was way ahead of schedule.</p> <p>We couldn't be happier with our experience and we would definitely use him again.</p> <br />"

"Dennis was awesome.  The kitchen lights/sockets stopped working for a while and a previous electrician kept delaying on when he could fix them.  Frustrated, we called Shazzam after doing some research here on Angie's List.  After a Tuesday afternoon call Dennis was here the next day to diagnose the problem.  We found out it was previous electrical work that was the cause of the problem and creating a fire hazard.  After giving us an estimate he came back Saturday morning (Labor Day weekend and we were having company over, so he scored extra brownie points there) and fixed the kitchen lights/sockets.  He also replaced a bathroom light and repaired the chandelier in the dining room (again, previous shoddy work was causing a fire hazard in the chandelier).  I have found a new go-to electrician and I am definitely going to use Shazzam for all my future electrical work. <br />"
