"When installing a new refrigerator, the knob to turn the water off fell off in the service man’s hand and water was going everywhere. We had to turn the water off to the whole house. In a panic I found Home Advisor and after inputting my info, Amy from Mr. Rooter called within five minutes. After looking at her schedule, she said a tech would show up in 30-60 minutes. Don’t remember the time exactly, but Mike D. showed up in about 35-45. After inspecting the problem, he gave me an estimate. He said that there was a slow leak that had messed up the drywall and he had to cut it out. He installed all new pipes, bought a 2x4 because the new box was smaller than the old box and basically redid the entire site. Mike was so nice and explained everything he did. He realized that I was stressed and made every effort to make this process as easy as he could. If the service men would have brought the new refrigerator inside, Mike D. would have installed it for me. (They came back later and there were no issues installing the new fridge). When I first got the estimate I thought it was high, but I had no choice. In retrospect, I received much more value for my money. I will hire Mr.Rooter and Mike D. for any future plumbing projects."

"I'm very happy with the service I received from Edge Plumbing. I had an emergency with my plumbing and needed my drain cleaned out the night before a holiday. Travis responded almost immediately upon choosing him as one of the plumbing services near me. He came over that night, and then returned the next morning at 8 AM. Very prompt and communication was constant. He got my drains all cleaned out, but found a break in my line which needed to be repaired. He identified where the exact location of the break and was very helpful working with the excavator to get my line repaired. "We suffered a water spigot break due to freezing weather that was not discovered until the line was charged in the spring. This caused significant water damage in our basement. Gary came over within 24 hours of notification, evaluated and identified the problem and had it corrected within a short amount of time. He also came back a week later for the same thing on the other spigot that started to give us problems also from the extreme cold weather in February. I would highly recommend Restoration Mechanical and their technicians. Gary is extremely professional, through and easy to work with. The price was very fair given the emergency circumstances."

"We initially thought that there was a leak in the line for which a quote was provided. Once the line was uncovered to repair the leak it was discovered that the entire line (lead pipe which had been installed when the house was built in 1967) was corroded and would probably continue to spring leaks even after the first was repaired. The contractor recommended that the entire line be replaced although he was more than willing to repair only the leak for the initial estimate of $195. I agreed with his recommendation.
The repair was expected to take several days so the contractor ran a temporary supply line to the house so that we would not be without water.
We were totally satisfied with the work that was completed and that the employees were professional and courteous.

"Dave responded quickly to my email for an estimate and came in the evening to give the estimate.  In addition to some small repairs, we wanted the patio and porch powerwashed.  He said that he could do it, but that we should consider getting our own small powerwasher because it was a small job.  So we decided to do that instead.  I was able to schedule our work to be done with about a week's wait.  I purchased the faucets and replacement supply lines (which he anticipated correctly might need to be longer than the existing ones).  Dave worked efficiently for about 6 hours, part of which included a trip to Lowes to get the tub molding, spline, and to exchange one of the supply lines for an even longer one.   He recommended plastic white tub molding instead of wood, which is a good solution to our kids' constant splashing of water.  It blends into the tub.  When he installed one faucet, he noticed some discoloration on a small plastic piece.  He mentioned it to me in case that would bother us.  I did ask him to exchange the faucet while at Lowes.  It turned out that they did not have another one in stock.  So I thought it was pretty smart thinking that he exchanged the plastic piece with the one on the display model and solved the problem.  All of the faucets work well.  The drywall repair became virtually unnoticable after we painted it.  Dave also left the work areas pretty clean (installing the drain piece is a bit of a dirty job) and covered the carpets leading to the rooms.
