"JOB: Brick wall/planter deconstruct and rebuild...no changes to the design. Mike was friendly initially and we had good communication...until we did not. We thought he was more experienced as a mason, but now we are not so sure. He made rookie mistakes, never completed the job, and now the mortar has cracked. I am not in the habit of posting reviews (good or bad) but I could not let this go. All Mike had to do for our job to be complete was the waterproofing. We have had holidays and bad weather since he finished the bulk of the work, but there have been multiple opportunities. We asked him the product he uses so my husband can complete this job, he never responded. We feel stupid for giving the final payment before the job was complete. Sadly, we trusted that he would come back. I even gave him a tip as it was before the holidays. It is difficult to find trustworthy contractors these days. We wish Mike no ill will, but cannot recommend his work."

Then they opened the crack slightly to make sure the repair matrial could go deep inside for a solid bond. After the repair cured they waterproofed the area with foundation coating to prevent moisture from coming through again. Everything was done carefully and professionally from preparation to cleanup.
