He also communicated clearly and quickly throughout. An all-around very pleasant experience! Our project wasn't entirely straightforward (also involved a call box with loosened concrete footing, and electrical loop embedded into the driveway for automated gate operation) but Mike was able to take care of all these aspects with ease and avoiding extra costs. "Right from the start things went well. Or salesman, Chris, presented the company's services in a straightforward fashion and gave us addresses of other projects so we could see some similar projects installed. We had other quotes for the job, one a little higher and another a lot higher. Price was not the driving factor - we just felt more comfortable working with Pacific Outdoor and the low price was just a bonus. Once we signed on the process went very smoothly. Jorge, a supervisor, came out right away and went over the details and a demolition crew showed up a couple days after that. Fun to watch these guys work - with all their big equipment they had our old concrete driveway out before noon and started preparing the bedding. The next day the installation crew arrived and went right to work. I worried that if I asked for minor changes someone would tell me it wasn't in the contract and would entail additional cost. Not the case. The two or three I asked for were done without any discussion. We anticipated the job would take five days and they were done in four. The last day was a Saturday so they didn't leave the job sitting there partially completed over the weekend. We're all done, very pleased and getting lots of compliments from the neighbors. If I have another project I won't hesitate using these good folks."

"Fantastic company and people – and we do recommend them! We selected 4 Seasons Remodeling & Design to do a full re-do of our backyard – part of it was to remove the 20-years patio and renovating the pool and decking. The final results ARE brilliant. The pool was totally re-plumbed, re-plastered and new tile and coping were installed including all the new equipment. The remodeled patio is a stunning textured concrete with brushed ribbons. The flagstone steps and trim match the concrete perfectly. Jacob and his team were very professional and efficient during the entire work. We had significant delays due to Covid19 and few other things, but they kept moving forward on the work. Everything was clean and organized during the remodeling project, and were always on time. We had a couple of additional items that we added to the project as it progressed, and Jacob was prompt with updated estimates. There were no unexpected costs during the project; Jacob's original estimate was very accurate and even identified those items we had to handle separately (e.g., permits). We loved their work so much that we are now having them give us a quote for our front yard hardscape. "I usually don't use the cliche "we couldn't be happier," but we really couldn't be happier with our new paver driveway installed by Falkon. We solicited three bids from companies found on Angie's list. One estimate was really high. A second estimate seemed too good (low) to be true. Based on the Angie's List ratings, I expected Falkon to be about halfway between the two, but the Falkon was almost the same as the "too good to be true" estimate. After researching more and viewing the Falkon website which included past project photos, we selected Falkon for the project. Honestly, at first, I thought Val kind of rushed through the estimate/walkthrough, especially when compared to the experience I had with the other two contractors we spoke with. I'm not saying this to complain. I'm bringing this up to suggest that if you have a similar experience/feeling, don't let that scare you away. Val was always responsive to our needs throughout the decision-making process and the actual project. He never blew us off or made us feel like we were bothering him. Besides, what really counted was the execution of the project and the results. Both were outstanding. Val's crew appeared very experienced. They were punctual and professional. The progress they made each day was phenomenal. We have a pretty large driveway - approximately 1200 square feet with some curving on the borders. Day 1 - Demolished and removed/hauled away old asphalt driveway. Graded soil. Day 2 - Placed underlayments and compacted/graded again Day 3 - Placed all pavers - except for border. Day 4 - Placed bordering pavers and cut inner pavers meeting the border. We requested angled pattern requiring more (and angled) cuts. (By the way, we love the angled paver pattern. Worth the extra effort and cost.) Day. 5 - Filled in gaps between pavers. (about half day). Day 6 - Originally planned, but not needed because everything was completed on Day 5. We highly recommend Falkon Construction for any paver project you are considering."
