"Our experience with Sanchez Landscapes was fairly unremarkable.  I had purchased the deal before a death occurred in the family, and so I'm actually kind of hazy on my memory of how it all went.  I do remember that they were scheduled to come out on a day that I ended up being out of town due to the death in the family, but they didn't get the message not to come in time, and they did show up, but they were very kind and accommodating about rescheduling.  They were all very polite and I have no complaints about their service.  We really weren't very specific with them about things we wanted done, so I can't comment on how they do as far as many particular requests.  The one exception is that we did ask them to trim our wisteria that is grown up onto the top of our pergola (we didn't ask them to get on top of the pergola to trim it - just the part hanging off the edges at the top), and they did need to borrow our ladder, but they were happy do what we'd asked.  Overall I was quite satisfied with their work.  One side note that might be helpful for someone reading this - I did give them both tips, by the way.  I am not all that familiar with paid services, so I had to Google it while they were working to see if tipping was appropriate for this kind of thing, and so I did give them a $15 tip each, although they did not seem to be expecting it, and were very appreciative for it.

"I recommend them! Lobo are professional and quick. They offered a no hassle quote, they came and did the work after offering a quote. They take cash or check for payment. All in, from posting on angi to completion of the project, was less than a week! They removed one tree that had died, removed everything that was there. They also trimmed up one tree and removed another bush. We were able to get prices for all three items individually if we wanted to do any one by itself, but decided to do them all together. I would hire again for any service they offer!"

"The owner and one of his workers were great - fast, accurate, knowledgeable. The second worker was OK, but worked with a manual (!) pole saw on a cheap 6-foot ladder, so the work was maddeningly slow. The third guy occasionally picked up a fallen branch, but mostly texted unless I was there working with them. I never got a receipt for the work despite several requests for one. The following month I hired an actual tree climbing team: the man hours were about 30% more expensive, but they did an incredible amount of work in 4 hours with 3 guys, overall resulting in a much, much better value. I wish H/L Landscaping good luck: the owner clearly has expertise in landscaping and an excellent work ethic himself. Until all of his team lives up to that standard, however, clients will be paying in part for amateur work at professional grade rates."

"Everything worked out great. They did a very good job. Very friendly and professional. I was very pleased. They did more than what the Big Deal said. They did haul away the dibree, and the Big Deal said they would bag it and then leave it. It was not an easy job, because I have a lot of bushes and cactus in the back yard. They were timely, and they went beyond the Big Deal, very knowledgeable about landscaping. I asked them some questions and he provided some answers.  I am going to use them again this fall. Very articulate."

Eric even called to let me know he was a little delayed, which was most appreciated and showed respect for me as a customer. The crew was professional and did an excellent job in removing the trees. The stray Elm trees were also removed at my request. Everything was cleaned up and left very neat. I would definitely hire again and since I have a landscaping project in mind, I will definitely have them perform this work as well."

"I purchased a big deal coupon for this company.  It's very hard to tell the benefits.  I had to do some deep root watering to the same trees to keep them going.  We had such a dry Spring last year.  They were nice, they came out.  They did their thing.  It was hard to tell what the results were from what they did.  That's not their fault really, they just injected some chemicals into the roots of the tree.  I just don't know, I can't tell.  I have no way to measure.  The trees didn't die, they survived.  They had a lot of stress since then.  I assume it helped them to resist all the stress.  A service like this is just really hard to evaluate other than the fact that they were obliging and did the work they promised."
