"The privacy fence along my back yard blew down in during the Christmas blizzard. Eleven panels. I called City Fence, who had done the original install, three times, but never got a return call. Finding Sadler on Angi, I took a chance and gave him a call. With so much damage in the city after that storm, I didn't expect to hear from back so quickly, but Mr Sadler called back right away and scheduled a visit to make an estimate. He talked me through my options and his price was excellent. I was very surprised that he was able to to do the installation at the end of January, just a few weeks after the original damage. I thought I would have to wait until spring. His crew was efficient, courteous, and tidy in their work. He estimated that the job would take a day and a half, but the installation was finished in just one day, and was beautifully done, far superior to the fence it replaced. Sadler worked with the survey of my property, and noted that the old fence was fully a foot inside my property line. Using the official measurements, he was able to regain nine inches of width in my back yard. The old fence ran perfectly straight, leaving some significant gaps between the bottom of the fence and the ground, where there were changes in elevation. The new fence hovers evenly, about 3 inches above the ground, and is perfectly aligned with the contours. The scoops cut into the fence panels make the fence appear to be entirely straight, but this is an illusion, expertly created by Sadler's crew. I could not be more pleased. When the crew left the dirt from the post holes in piles, instead of spread evenly along the fence as we had agreed, Mr. Sadler came back and personally corrected that. This was an excellent experience, and I recommend Sadler Fence to everyone I can. They are superb. I feel very lucky to have found this company."

"My husband and I met with Steve, a salesman from Amherst Fence on September 5 for an estimate. Steve was knowledgeable about fencing and gave us a reasonable estimate for work to be done. When Steve left out meeting (1/3 total cost deposit in hand), he informed us that the office would call us in four weeks to schedule; this didn't happen. Instead, we called the office six weeks after paying our deposit to ask why we hadn't been contacted. The company seems to use an answering service and nobody responded to us within two days of our call. Luckily, Steve gave us his cell phone number, so my husband was able to get in touch with him to schedule work. According to Steve, he had been on vacation and there had been a "scheduling mix-up" in his absence. Work was then finally scheduled to begin the week of October 28 (about four weeks late). The crew came to remove old posts and install new ones, and were supposed to return one week later to complete the fencing (taking into account that we had scheduled tree service, thinking that this fencing would have been completed weeks earlier). The crew did not come back as promised, so I called Steve (who was not as polite to me on the phone as I would have liked) to confirm that the crew would finish the job by that Friday (5 days later than promised after installing the posts). After this ordeal, Steve contacted me the very next day to collect the balance and was 20 minutes late.
Ultimately, the fence is of high quality and looks very nice, and the crew who did the work (and as I understand it, have no control over their schedule) were professional and pleasant. Based on quality alone, I would recommend Amherst Fence. Unfortunately, considering the entire experience, I would not recommend doing business with this company.

"The work that was done entailed removal of existing exterior chimney pipe along with removal and replacement of the following: offset boot, storm collar, ice shield, flashing, roof shingles, and vinyl siding. The entire area was cleaned up and all debris removed upon completion. The repair men did a fantastic job and took the time to explain every part of the repair that was done. Also, when Igor came out and gave us the estimate he was knowledgeable and very thorough in diagnosing the issue and giving us a detailed plan for the repair work. The job was scheduled in a timely manner as was promised on the estimate. Igor also came out the day after the repair work was done and water tested the repair to ensure we would no longer have any water leaking into the house at that location."
