"I reached out to this company on October 26. I then followed up a few days later after not hearing back. The gentleman I spoke with did immediately go to our house to take a look but never got back to me (it's a rental house), so I again had to check back in. A day later, he responded, told me the issue, gave me a quote and said, "If you let me know, I can probably get it done later today." I gave him the green light and told him to invoice me. My renter called me on December 4 asking when the garage door would be fixed! That's over a MONTH after the man I spoke with at this company said he'd go fix our issue! Not only did they not show up that day, but he didn't show up at any time or even bother to call me back. I called him on December 4 to ask what was going on. He seemed confused by who I was. I explained the whole history and told him to look at the text messages on his phone between us. Even after explaining what had happened, he never once apologized. Instead, he said he'd look at his records when he got back to his office and would call me. That was yesterday morning. He never called me. I called and texted him this morning. Radio silence. I finally left him a message that we are taking our business elsewhere. I don't know how this company has such great reviews if this is how they treat customers. I agreed to the price, gave him my information to invoice me, and spent a lot of my time trying to follow-up with him to no avail. It was an incredibly frustrating process."

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.
With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.
Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
